I was here for the first time after riding the Pennsylvania Tail of the Dragon, which ends in Shamokin. It's a nice old neighborhood place and reminds me of the eateries that existed back in the day in the northwest section of Reading. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent and for really good price. I had something called a "slop," which is basically an omlette with everything in it. I would definitely go here again. They do not accept cards being a cash only business but now have an ATM inside. Parking is on the street.

Took my dad here for the first time ever a few weeks ago and he even thought it was a great place to eat, awesome prices and a very welcoming and family like staff experience! Keep up the great work, this is our new go to breakfast spot. ?Vegetarian options: Pancakes galore, even gluten free options if I remember correctlyKid-friendliness: My son is a year and a half.. tends to throw fits.. instead of the usual scowls and negative comments the staff members and even some of the patrons, were happy to try to talk to my son, give him a little teddy bear and simply interact with my kids to try to make the situation better. In a world where I'm so used to the opposite occurring and becoming anxiety ridden over the whole ordeal, the interaction we had not only made me happy and relieved but made me want to support this business even more.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp leading right up to the front door.

The food wasn't to bad except my potatoes could of been cooked longer!! I like more crispy potatoes!! And when you get your food you definitely have to season it!! Now the staff was nice but the one waitress was eating and serving ppl without washing her hand!! But they are very nice ppl and they had a lot of regular customers going in!!
