Kind of old-school feel, but i like that about it. It isnt a forced vintage feeling. I have only ever been here for food, so I cant speak of the bar, but i feel as if little as changed since ai was a child. I am so very extremely picky about pasta dishes and this is one of the only places anywhere I go that I will get pasta, sauce, etc.
The fries were really good. Our service was pretty bad. Multiple mistakes were made and we were understanding, but got no apologies. I ordered a full plate of pasta, our waitress got me a half size, but said she was putting another one in for me to make it a full size and I was fine with it, no big deal. But on my bill which I didn't receive the itemized version of (I had to ask for it once the merchant and customer copies came back and looked too high), she charged me for...
JJ's is your hometown bar and restaurant that you can't get enough of. Every time I've been there the food is good and the people are friendly.
