After I sat down, a song starts playing over all speakers, āLOVE WILL KEEP US TOGETHERā by CAPTAIN & TENNILE. TENNILE said, āTHINK OF ME BABE WHENEVERā, immediately I start thinking of a āLONG AGO LOST LOVEāā¦that could have gone places, if I had put more effort into it.
While thinking, the waiter greets me, and then hand me a menu, I start ordering anything on the menu so I can listen to CAPTAIN & TENNILEāS song.
After ordering, and song at the end, another song starts playing, āTAKE ME HOME COUNTRY ROADSā by JOHN DENVER.
JOHN DENVERāS song nearly over, I wonder what song will play next, directly after JOHN DENVERāS song, āYOU MAKE ME FEEL LIKE DANCINGā by LEO SAYER starts.
Now up beat, I get up and head to the restroom, while walking, I see mounted on walls, pictures of ELVIS PRESLEY, the BEATLES & MARYLIN MONROE (I hope her name is spelled correctly).
After using the restroom and food before me, I eat and is completely satisfied, because I am listening to beautiful songs from the past, have seen wonderful pictures from the past, and is now full from over the top cuisineā¦wait a minute, music, food, and pictures helped me to almost forget my āLONG AGO LOST LOVEā!

Overall great experiencr and great food. A little slow on getting the food, but when it's kinda busy and one guy cooking....can't blame him too much. Will eat there again....kids LOVED the fries

Maddie was one of the best waitresses we had. Very helpful we wanted extra crispy home fries she suggested getting them deep fried they were fabulous. She was waiting the tables alone but remained very focused on all her tables

Well now, let me tell yāall somethināāthe Village Square Diner serves up biscuits and gravy so fine, I reckon angels might be takinā notes. The biscuits were fluffy as a springtime cloud, and that gravy? Lord have mercy, it was smoother than a buttered skillet and seasoned like Grandma herself whispered the recipe straight from heaven. I sat there, fork in hand, feelinā like Iād stumbled into the promised land of comfort food. If youāve got a hankerinā for somethinā thatāll warm your soul and make you wanna hug the cook, this is the place to be. Donāt just take my word for it, thoughāgrab a plate and prepare to fall in love.

Great tuna salad sandwich! The place was clean also. I ordered take out. They could have been a little friendlier though. The guy seemed a little annoyed .
