“I've been looking for some authentic pupusas since I moved back to PA from California. I was so excited when I saw they had some in Nescopeck! I just had to try these and I was Not disappointed. they were wonderful and exactly what a pupusa should taste like. The pizza was also delicious. I love their crispy crust! customer service was awesome as well. We will be back!”

“The bakery itself was wonderful. The pizza is incredible. The goodies were wonderful. The staff was rude. Ordered 75$ including a pizza, there were 4 adults, it was our first time and we were still in the middle of ordering. Person who waited on us was brusque and asked us to wait outside she would bring out our pizza. No one was yelling or misbehaving. My husband and I were with my 86 year old mother and father. Would have got more if not for our staff. Would go back in spite of that since the food was so good but treatment of customers disappointed. BTW there was no one else in the store at the time.”

“My 89 year old mother absolutely loves the chicken noodle soup. She enjoys a mug full everyday and is never tired of it. I ask for a low sodium version and they make it happen. I'm hooked on shrimp with veggies they make for me. Also love the dumplings, egg rolls and many other dishes. It's my favorite place to get really good Chinese food.”

“Extremely please with Morris Family Restaurant service for hosting our family's wedding rehearsal dinner Friday 04/01/2022. Considering we actually had more folks attend than originally expected, they set up additional seats without issue. The dinner was prepared beautifully and the servers were always checking to see that everyone was taken care of throughout the evening. They were very helpful with making the arrangements and were completely prepared when we arrived. Our sincere thank you to everyone. Would absolutely recommend them!!!”

“I come here every other Tuesday and Monday for trivia and Music Bingo! There’s always so many different events offered during the week with many being family/child friendly. I’ve been coming here since before the rename/remodel and my daughter has basically grown up running around here. This establishment is more than just a typical small town bar, it has big personality, great prices, and someone that always knows ya! The owner also does a whole lot for the community, benefits, fundraising etc. I literally would not and do not go anywhere else!”

“Marty’s seems to have been a firm family favorite and suggestion to others for….well, since I can remember. Seems like they’ve been open since the mid-80’s, circa my start date as well. I can’t really say it’s a ‘hidden gem’ because it’s notoriously mentioned in many circles as the “have you ever been to THIS place??” place, but people usually answer YES, with wide eyes and a few memorable dish notes. We went for a mid-week date night, and there was a constant flow of seemingly satisfied diners. The ambiance was warm and cozy, not too dimly lit but very deliberately paced with the huge portions they offer; the service was top-notch, friendly and knowledgeable, always checking back at the right times and knowing what we would need as guests. We ordered several of their suggestions with no reservations, and they delivered. My fiance still talks about that apple cider margarita and it’s firmly on the list of not-too-hard-to-make restaurant favorites we roll out for our guests at home. The stuffed mushrooms had a ton of crab meat and far less breading than most, without being saturated or too heavy to start the meal. The salads are certainly slept on; neatly arranged but never the star when pitted up against their hearty steak or cajun offerings, their house salads are hard to beat, unless you're paying up for a meal-type salad. As good as those two items were, the scallops I had with their cracker-encrusted light breading were the epitome of simple, sauteed, buttery-by-nature seafood; they were the best version of scallops like that I’ve ever had. And the dessert…just perfect for so many reasons; crispy and gooey caramelized bananas, a good amount of vanilla ice cream and the best cinnamony syrup sauce that I couldn’t stop lapping up. Really, a fantastic experience, we’ll be back!”
