No matter the ages or dining needs of people in your party CJ's are MASTERS of the casual dining experience: I went there for a family dinner to celebrate a child's birthday. I was nervous about whether a "Pub" would be an appropriate place to go. The "Pub" portion of the restaurant looked very cozy with a lot of wood decor and table booths lining the wall. Under different circumstances, the Pub looked like a great place to dine for adults. However, since a member of our party has mobility issues and we had a child in our party, I was concerned because the booths are elevated 6-12" above the restaurant floor. While this makes viewing the TVs across the room much better, some may find the booths a bit difficult to get in and out of. So I was pleasantly surprised to see that our hostess took us to a different room which was perfectly set up for family dining. We were given a booth (not elevated ?) and everyone fit comfortably. During our dinner, we dined on burgers, chicken fingers, fries, salads, and desserts. Everything we were served was outstanding. The quality of the food and care in preparation is evident. I was also highly impressed with our waitress. She did an EXCELLENT job of anticipating our needs. For example, when we told her that someone in the party had a fish allergy, not only did she think to ensure that meal was cooked separately, she also informed us that the fries were cooked in a separate fryer to ensure there was no accidental exposure via the cooking oils. I have never seen a waitress (or restaurant for that matter) handle a food allergy request so kindly and thoroughly. It truly made the night of that individual to be treated with such dignity. We all had a wonderful time at CJ's!

Call wife and I stopped for lunch here in early November. The restaurant was clean and neat, the wait staff was friendly and the service was not exceptional but adequate. My wife had the southwestern salad with grilled chicken and she thought it was outstanding... especially the spiced and flavorful grilled chicken. I had a grilled romaine Cesar salad with steak. My steak was done medium rare like requested. The grilled romaine Caesar salad was OK... I have had better elsewhere... but it was still enjoyable The cost for the lunch including an iced tea and a soft drink and gratuity was $44.

Food was decent and the service was good overall. Our waiter didn't seem to be in a great mood or he just wasn't interested in telling us about the special of the day like other servers did with their tables. Still, food was delivered quickly and was tasty. My wife was a bit disappointed that her southwest chicken salad didn't have cheese or tortilla strips on it. Aside from that, I'd visit again without reservation.

If Anthony Bourdain we're to have visited Shippensburg in his life, I would have brought him here. It's not Michelin star food, but it is a classy casual place that serves great made to order food. The cocktails and beer selection is seasonal. They rotate very nicely. I've had a lavender hard lemonade here in the spring that was gorgeous and delicious. The bbq is nice. The prime rib is tender. From Steaks and seafood, to burgers and fries, they do a nice variety. Great salads and wraps. Kids are ok here. I've seen business meeting and small private parties, and just friends and family having meals here. No dress code, just a warm, not over bearing environment.

Our experience at CJ's is always a pleasure. Today, Tara was absolutely awesome! She was charismatic, sweet, and super professional. The food was as always incredibly delicious and she made every effort to make the experience great! I feel she is owed a great review due to her professionalism. She had a true and awesome smile the whole time as well. Keep it up!

Service was fantastic! French onion soup was bland. Cj nachos were good, but chicken was a bit rubbery. Had the Cameron smash burger. It was OK, the burger was juicy but the bun was soggy. Great service turned this from a 3 star to 4 star review.

Working out of town so this was our first visit and I wish I would have taken pictures! Crab nachos and a steak salad with some wings on the side... Nachos were the Best!Real lettuce and the steak was great. Wings were cooked just right. Waitress was Wonderful and super friendly!!! If you're in the area be sure to stop

Banned my company from using this place for business purposes a couple of years ago. The owner knows me, and knows why. Never cared to reach out to make up for it. Annual expenditures at local restaurants for the past 2 years has exceeded $5000 per year. CJ's loss.bad business. I'm here if you ever want to work it out. You have my number.

Started off with the boom boom shrimp which was the right amount of spice. Wife had crab cake sandwich which she liked. I had a grilled Caesar salad which was a way I've never had before and I loved it. Main course gourmet smash burger was cooked to perfection. Everyone at CJ's was really nice. Ended up being a great stop.

Kim was our bartender/waitress and she is wonderful! My guy started off with a side salad and for his entree the seafood fra diavolo and I had the southwestern salad with chicken. Everything was delicious! Great choices on the menu but a bit pricey
