Stopped for ice cream. The pumpkin cheesecake was excellent - creamy as well as good flavor. They also had peanut butter Ice cream pup cups !! We will return.

Parking: Not very big parking lot for large business they do at times.

Wife and i are retired and we enjoy finding good homemade ice cream places. Candy's is on our go to list!? Tasty, reasonable, and great service!?

Great ice cream, lots of choices. It's not fancy but worth stopping if your between Reading and Hamburg PA. Use the light at rt662 East in Shoemakersville, go one block and turn left to go in the back way. Turning off Rt 61 is not great.

Candy's has some of the best ice cream in pa! We booked her for my daughters wedding and we could not have found a better ice cream service in south central pa. They were on time,gave generous servings of ice cream, the staff was was friendly and the ice cream selection was more than any other service offered us.

I would only choose Candy's for an event.

I wish there was a location in lebanon.

Honestly, writing this review has me kinda upset. Candy’s is definitely not what it used to be. Food is not the greatest, and the ice cream has been tasting freezer burnt the last few times I have had it. The staff are sometimes nice but not the greatest at multi tasking/ prioritizing time right. As a kid I used to go Candy’s with my family and knew the previous owner pretty well. The place doesn’t feel the same anymore.

Not as good as it used to be. The icecream is not the same at all. Save yourself and go to the grocery store.

After new ownership, service really slowed and the girls always seem miserable. Quality of the ice cream seems to be the same but I stopped going due to service and we use to be every other day customers. I thought maybe things would be better after time but I was in Monday with my nieces and nephews and it took us 30 minutes to order food, another 30 minutes to get the food, then another 30 minutes to get ice cream plus the time it takes the littles to eat. But when I go up to Schuylkill Haven to a different ice cream shop; line out the door and we will eat and have ice cream and out the door all within an hour with proud and happy service from the girls.

I asked for the richest chocolate ice cream without any bits or pieces of anything in it in a cone…..my flavor had a ton of ice crystals (freezer burn). Had to ask for a cup and spoon cause it wanted to fall off the cone since it was so hard and icy. My husband had the snickers which was right next to the mint chip in the freezer case and he said he could taste the mint flavoring in his cup of snickers. Very disappointed in the quality of this ice cream!
