We’ve tried a bunch of places and this restaurant is the best Chinese we’ve had in the Shrewsbury/New Freedom/Stewartstown area. The owner is very sweet and always has a smile on his face and a cheerful attitude. They have super fast service and the food is always hot, fresh, and most importantly they’ve never forgotten an item or gotten our order wrong.

I wanted Chinese food today, so I checked the inspections on line. One restaurant in the area had multiple infractions. The other, I had not been in for years because of disgust. I looked up Emerald Garden and it was clear of infractions. I got a lunch special of shrimp and broccoli, egg rolls and fried rice! It was hot, fresh and the best Chinese meal I have eaten in a very long time. Kudos to Emerald Garden.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant since I moved to PA in 2003. Has never disappointed! Always a warm atmosphere. The food is always on point, hot, easy on the eyes and tasty! The service is always speedy and friendly! The sushi bar is my favorite. 😍 🍣 🍱
