The buffet was a huge disappointment. It was supposed to be seafood and the main dish was chicken. There were a couple of sad pieces of white fish with a lot of dark spots, something that was fried and unidentifiable, some friends shrimp that was cold, and some crumbs of fried clams. After about 20 minutes they maybe added a third of a pan of clams. The rest of the food was below basic buffet food--instant mash potatoes, canned gravy, canned corn, and a couple jello/cool whip flufffs and a very basic salad bar. Overall, I would not recommend. It has a lot of other things on the property like mini golf and a petting zoo but overall just seems like a tourist trap.

Since COVID most buffets disappeared,‘the few left I’ve found serve largely institutional grade food. Not here, it’s wonderful to find a place where everything is genuine home made. I camp @ Cook’s or Clear creek about once a year and always make a point to dine here. Over the years I’ve had Breakfast,lunch and dinner and all were quality food, kind service and very pleasant atmosphere. I always recommend to anyone who visits the area. Lucky those who live nearby, it’s a rare gem and getting harder every year to find such places.

We went in to have breakfast around 10:45 AM on a Sunday. They stopped serving breakfast at 10:30. The amount of food they had to throw away from their breakfast buffet was ridiculous. They were cleaning up full containers of food. If they reuse them, well, that’s disgusting. I understand McDonald’s and other fast food needing to cut breakfast off for the lunch rush. But it was Sunday, a lot of people enjoy brunch. There were not a lot of people in there for such a big place and it is obvious why. Not to mention thier price for the buffet was overpriced.
