We went for my birthday and were very disappointed. It is clear that the sushi chef is very good and I loved the teriyaki rib eye, but there were too many issues for us to want to go back again. The atmosphere is all over the place with laser lights on the ceiling, plastic koi decorations and signage lining the walkway, and RGB speakers playing rave remixes of pop songs. The miso was too salty, my dish came with dry rice and unseasoned green beans and two baby carrots, and the stir fry had far too much onions and iceberg lettuce with no flavor besides onion broth. We suspect that the veggies were from a freezer bag and we did see them using a microwave behind the sushi bar. The takoyaki was good, and that was our favorite part of the meal. Almost all of the rolls have mango and or asparagus, which they will remove if necessary, but it does make it hard to find anything appetizing if you don't like those items. The restaurant is in a wonderful location with so much potential, and we were devastated to see how low the quality was for the price point. The server was very attentive, but there were communication issues between the server and chef on what was on the menu. There is a sign when you go in of all the special fish you can have as sashimi, and the server promoted these items, but once ordered we learned that it was only on weekends. We overheard from a different table that when they tried to order, dishes on the menu were also no longer being made. I hope that they clean up the restaurant to be fine-dining once again, and elevate the sides and seasonal complexity of the dishes.

Absolutely love this place. Whether you are inside or outside (they have a lovely wrap around deck with great views), the atmosphere is peaceful and very enjoyable. Some of the best sushi rolls I have had, offering great combinations/creativity, and they will customize pretty much anything. Service is always pleasant and attentive. Highly recommend.

Lunch menu only when I visited. The small bites in bento box are delicate and tasty. Outdoor table might have insect around (natural) but the view, wind, sunshine are great.

This is hands down the best sushi restaurant in the area. We’ve been coming here for over a decade and it has never disappointed us. The quality and freshness of the sushi is so unmatched,, but the service from Joey is amazing. He is one of the main reasons we always want to come back. We’re sad his brother Jason left to pursue other interests, but Joey is the man. You need to try Koi if you have not already!

Dinner for two in March so sat inside. Restaurant has large outside deck so maybe has outdoor seating in warmer weather. Service was super friendly. Had a sushi roll of the month which was very good. They do have a drink menu. We will go back.

Just had my first experience here and loved it! The presentation of the food was amazing and fun! The chef came out and gave us samples and was so friendly. We got a soup and two orders of sushi and split the bill for only $20 each! I will definitely be back

This was my first time in the Skippack area and while walking through we saw this beautiful building atop the hill. It was shining as if it were gods glorious kingdom, and the food was heavenly to match the appearance. My family and I were provided amazing service that made our dining experience unforgettable. Jason and his staff are doing great work, the best.

Koi Sushi Bar in Skippack is hands down one of my favorite spots. The sushi is always super fresh and packed with flavor. But honestly, what makes it even better is the manager, Jason. He’s super friendly and makes sure everyone feels taken care of. If you’re in the area, definitely check it out you won’t be disappointed!

Overall I would not recommend eating here due to the lack of service.
The food was good but we waited so long for some of our hot items to come out that they were cold by the time they got to us (pork belly skewers). Some ordered items were forgotten/never came and we even had to go inside to pay our bill because our server never came out to collect our card.

We were in walking around the town and thought it looked cute so we tried it. When I tell you this place has THE BEST Udon I have ever had I do not lie. I have lived in New York City and this udon soup is better than any I have. If I could give a higher rating I would.
