The Farm House Restaurant

Our first visit at the Farm House Restaurant several months ago was good experience, and that's. the reason we had made.a.comeback! This second visit was not.so good. We were seated.in a corner table, where couple of my nfriends were not.able.to look out. Please understand...I had made a reservation before our visit. Finally, we wanted to order coffee at the end of the meal, but the servers just assume# that we were done - and brought us the check!

The bar/restaurant area was noisy. We were seated in upstairs dining room. Lots of annoying gnats flying around. One couple left there table next to us because of the gnats. We left our table too for same reason. Had our appetizer at the bar and then seated for the entrees in loud dining room adjacent to bar. Crab cake was good, salmon was very good as were the carrots, the mashed potatoes were cool in some spots, not heated through evenly. Drinks were good.

The elk and boar sandwich was a new food group for me. Very good! My dining partner who ordered a salad with chicken arrived without the chicken. The time it took took to receive the chicken was not acceptable. As a result I finished earlier than my dining partner. Servers need to pay attention and deliver the order to the cook correctly.

Sat outside on a beautiful day. Probably the best way to experience this place. Nice setting and food was very good

We had an excellent meal with fabulous service. The dining room was full so the noise level was high, but tolerable. They were very willing to modify dishes due to dietary restrictions. Unfortunately they did not have any multigrain or wheat rolls as I had mentioned on Open Table, but my husband enjoyed the white rolls and honey butter. We did not order dessert as they had no low sugar or sugar free options. Overall the experience was very positive, the service stellar, and the meal fantastic- lots of choices on the menu. We will definitely return!

The food was good. There was only one server; she did her best but we spent more time waiting than eating.

Fun evening, celebrating a family member's 85th birthday. Service was great, food was delicious and the menu has many choices so everybody will find something they enjoy.

This is the first time that we have been to this restaurant and the last. After being seated at the table, more than 10 minutes passed and still, no one came to take our drink order or even give us our silverware.  There was a gentleman who was lighting the fire pit and heaters who I assumed could be a manager, so I went up to him and asked if he knew who the server was for our table. His reply was “I do not know”. I then asked if he was the manager and he said yes. I asked if he could please find out who our server was so we could place our drink order. Finally the server came over to our table, apologized for not coming sooner, but she was not told that anybody was seated at her table. We got salads and the food was fair, but no one even came to check on how we were doing. The manager was going to tables to put lights under the umbrellas, but never even apologized to us or asked if everything was OK now.  When we wanted to pay our bill no one came to get it so we needed to go back to this manager and ask him if he could take it and we said that we wanted $5.00 back still leaving a 20% tip for the service we got. The manager mocked me for asking for $5.00 back!  All in all, it was not a good experience aside from the fabulous singer that they had! 

The food and ambience was fantastic. Both the hostess (whose name I wish I could remember) and Julia, our bartender/server, were very welcoming and had strived to be sure all was good with our dinners and our total experience. Even though the restaurant was full, we never had to wait for service.

Love this place. Quaint, cozy, comfortable. Fabulous staff. Awesome food. Very nice patio and outside bar overlooking the golf course. Winter the fireplaces are so nice. They also have a fire pit and outdoor entertainment on weekends!

I've had lunch at The Farmhouse Restaurant several times lately and haven't been disappointed. The waitresses are very pleasant and efficient. I've tried different menu items and enjoyed each one. Will definitely go again.

In March 2025, I contacted The Farm House Restaurant through its website. I was searching for a venue to host my “big birthday number” brunch in April. The director of food and beverage, Hans F. promptly emailed me and courteously answered all my crazy questions. Planning this event from thousands of miles away was a bit scary for me. There were many email and phone exchanges.

Not to worry. In addition to their colonial charm, their kitchen and staff could handle my group from their menu. We had a bright, private room and were able to come the night before to set up.

On that busy Sunday, the staff was warm and professional. Even with special food requests, our order was promptly served. I could not have been happier. A beautiful venue surrounded by loving family and friends. Thank you, Hans, Skippack Farm House Restaurant, and staff

This was the first time any of our party of 6 dined at The Farm House. We will be back! The food choices were excellent & well prepared. Our server, Dina, was terrific. And the music was an unexpected bonus. All in all, we had a very delightful time.

Nice outdoor setting for a summer night with live music. Food was good and the service was OK. Go to enjoy music and enjoy be outside as the summer winds down

Had a great lunch at The Farmhouse Restaurant. Great food, service and ambiance surrounded by a golf course. Our server/wait staff Kelly was Primo!
