Horrible customer service, WAY too expensive for mediocre food. This small pathetic plate costed 25 dollars (with tip included) oh and it was cold..

This is the second time I visited. The first time wasn’t a great experience, but since they’d just opened at the time, I decided to give them another shot. I came in this afternoon and ordered a sausage sandwich with peppers and onions, that came with chips. I also took a chance on the rib on a stick they had featured. What I got was a Kaiser roll with sliced boiled sausage, some onions and peppers, and a drizzle of bbq sauce… certainly not what I was expecting. Everything here seemed to come out of a microwave, just dry and flavorless, just like my first visit. If you’re coming to the marketplace or looking for Bbq, don’t waste your time or money. This is not the place.

Everything tastes like it comes out of a can. Tin flavor and all. Chicken very dry.

Stopped by the Slatington Farmers Market and grabbed some Uncle Jay’s BBQ. The Pulled Pork sandwich with a side of Mac and Cheese. Pulled pork was great and really enjoyed the BBQ sauce. Give it a try when you stop in next time.

Tried out Uncle Jay's and you should too! We had the brisket, sausage, along with ribs, for take out, and all were delicious. All the meats were tender, flavorful, and packaged beautifully too! We've chased barbecue all over the country, and some of the best is right down the road! We will certainly be back!

The workers were so nice and accommodating to my kids and I. The wings had a lot of flavor and the fried pickles that are not in the picture were one of my favorites!!!!

Food doesn’t taste fresh, ordered a pork bbq sandwich. Pork was tasteless and barely had any smoke to it. Bbq sauce while only slightly sweet which I liked didn’t have enough flavor to make it the pork go down better.

Google maps doesn't mention that it's inside the food court of Slatington Market. The brisket sandwich was a bit dry, but decent portion.

Food was not good at all. I love bbq. This was terrible I forced myself to eat it. The cost was not even close to the quality that was delivered. Never again!

1 star is generous. I got the 2 meat platter. Waited about 30ish minutes. Got pulled pork and "keilbasa", mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. The pulled pork was straight mush, edible but not good, the "kielbasa" was just regular sausage and it was bland and gross. The mashed potatoes were ice cold. And the Mac and cheese tasted like butter and mush. I get they just opened but this all seems like frozen food and nothing fresh. Hospitals make better food. It was a big waste of money. It is way over priced for something you can cook better yourself at home. Don't waste your time or money on this food.

I understand this location just opened, but compared to the other locations I expected better. the food was bland and cold. I got the 2 meat platter with chicken and pulled pork. the pulled pork was like a paste and the chicken was soaking wet and wasn’t seasoned. the baked beans were straight out of a can and the corn bread was dry and bland. i’m hopeful that they get better as time goes on.

Amazing service and generous portions! We ordered the beef brisket (very tender!), mac & cheese, potato salad, corn and cole slaw. Will definitely be back!

Honestly, it was subpar. My food was cold, like straight out of the fridge cold. The baked beans were bush's, lol, i saw the can after I paid. I tried to eat it but i fed it to the trash. Hopefully they can improve, at least temperature wise.

The brisket was right out of the refrigerator cold. The "street corn" was nothing more than frozen corn, with no seasonings whatsoever. I wouldn't recommend it, especially for the price.
