I don't recommend Giant Eagle Slippery Rock because of awful customer service. When a company makes a promise to consumers they should keep it. Giant Eagle apparently is not keeping its promise, won't be honest with customers, and clearly does not care about animals.

Giant eagle needs to be transparent about its plan to source cage-free eggs. In effect they are deceiving consumers by promising to go 100% cage-free, but not showing any plan to take any concrete steps toward that goal.

This is a nice hometown store with a great selection of food and friendly staff. I appreciate that they have stuck by their mask policy to keep us all as safe as possible!

today was my last visit to the store, rotten celery among other vegetables in the vegetable aisles, only one choice of non dairy so delicious yogurt out of about 25 other brands of yogurt, today I was lucky, there usually isn't any. For the last 4 weeks, I have been in, there still isn't any Nestle chocolate syrup! Only Hershey...no Just Mayo, no racks of spare ribs, no small frozen turkeys, only 3, yes 3 roasting chickens, limited choices of frozen fruits, and 2 bags of frozen French fries, yes 2....This store does not supply VERY much for non-dairy customers. In the past I have bought vegetables and cheese that was bad 2 days after I purchased it! Also G.E. cream (3) that would not whip! Done..very sub-par store! Done, done done!

They had my order form for a special 70th birthday cake but never made the cake. They hurried up and made one in an hour but it was poorly decorated. Cake was dry.
