Great dinner after shopping all day at Grove City Outlets. Restaurant is in itself a great experience and a local must see.
We had an excellent dinner. Our server was great!! Would definitely recommend!! We both had burgers and also tried the frog legs. Will definitely go back again.
Best Beerfest in the state! From start to finish.
This place was fantastic. The food was great, staff was super nice and checked on us multiple times to see if we needed anything!
Mason did a great job (as he always does) taking care of us! Beer and food were amazing like always
2 people in our party ordered the Sheppard's pie. There was very little meat or vegetables. It was mainly potatoes. Our server was not very attentive and took a long time to take our order. very little communication with us, did not gently put our drinks on the table. Overall seemed like she was very busy and we inconvenienced her. We understand if she was busy, but that should not be passed on to the customers in attitude.
The food was delicious. My only comment is that I thought the portion for the fried calamari was small for $18.
We were never greeted so we sat at the bar to see if we could get food/drinks. The bartender seemed annoyed from the start of our experience. The workers were fighting with each other and the service lacked b/c of it. Our appetizer was delivered after our main, and there seemed to be an “excuse” for why we didn't receive it. We felt very awkward and just wanted to leave. Beers were left empty while workers seemed to be fighting about something and we needed to ask for the check, but could have walked right out. Not the best experience.
We went there to celebrate my husband's birthday! The food was delicious and we had 6 kids with our party who occasionally got really loud and everyone was so nice and gracious around us! Our server was great! We will be back:)
Drinks and service was great . The food is sub par. Great place to go to drink but I'd eat elsewhere.
Restaurantji Recommends
Have visited many times a year and the food has improved and is good. Have tried many menu items, including appetizers. Service is very good and kitchen wait is good too.
The service was friendly and speedy, and our server was quite knowledgeable about the extensive and delicious menu. Everyone had a hard time deciding what to order because they were so many options on the menu that sounded appealing to each of us. All four members of my party thoroughly enjoyed what they had, and the portions were quite generous so we all had leftovers. We want to make a trip back to Slippery Rock just to eat there again
The food was fairly average pub grub but the place itself and the super friendly staff made this a highlight of our trip - I'd definitely recommend people to pass by if they visit Slippery Rock
Always a great time at NCB! Great food, great service, great draft beers, and fun atmosphere!
Had a reservation at 4:30 for 2, requesting outdoor seating. Arrived on time, hostess at station was friendly but a table wasn't prepared ahead of time. Our server, Luke, was disappointing. Super short, very transactional, and couldn't tell us where the liquor was coming from unless we wanted to upgrade to “stateside vodka.” Didn't know where the well liquor was coming from. When we arrived there were only 2 other tables in the outside section, 1 was being served by a different member of waitstaff. Luke couldn't make beer suggestions, but did offer a sample. While we waited more than 10 minutes for a cocktail and beer sample, we looked over the menu even though we booked the reservation based on a previous experience years ago where their ribs were AMAZING. When Luke arrived with drinks, I asked if they had ribs and he was rude in his answer that they did not, saying, “not today or any time in the future that I know of.” Overall the service was slow and lackluster despite the fact that tables were open both inside and out for dinner service. Both parties ordered the NY strip dinner with 2 sides. Steaks were cooked appropriately but the broccoli had absolutely no seasoning and without any salt or pepper on the table and no return from our server until plates were nearly clear, it was what it was. This restaurant is beautiful, quirky, and has all the potential to create a stellar experience. The food was so-so, which could easily be overshadowed if the server was up to par. Unfortunately that wasn't our experience and our $117 bill felt pricey compared to what we received overall.
