This is a very homey local place with a rural charm you don't get in the city. Deserts are great, but I usually drive out of my way for the Buckwheat cakes in the AM. These are getting harder to find. Service has always been first rate and friendly.

Just wanted to say that I really liked the vibe of the restaurant. It was very welcoming and very clean. Our server was very sweet and tried her best despite being new.The portion sizes were more than adequate. The biscuits and gravy were very good, but the potatoes needed some seasoning and I wish they were a bit crispier. The chicken and the waffle were both kinda dry, but tasted fine. I really liked the option for raisins in the pancakes and it's not an inclusion I see all too often. Overall, I'd be willing to give it another go, as there was quite a few items I wouldn't have minded trying.

Wheelchair accessibility: Gravel parking lot had a concrete slab where w/c parking was provided, makes it sooo much easier to get a w/c from the car inside. Someone clearly knows how to accommodate disabled folks. Really appreciated it!
