I’ve never experienced such unprofessional and dismissive service. The staff were rude from the moment I walked in, and the overall attitude felt like they didn’t want customers there at all. This isn’t just about one bad day — it reflects poor leadership and ownership. With so many great restaurants in the area, there’s no reason to spend your money somewhere that doesn’t value basic courtesy or respect.

This is the best place in town!! Meatloaf special was amazing, the service was great and it gets better every visit. If you’re looking for a great meal for family dinner i highly recommend coming to this establishment if you haven’t already!

Server was a go getter. 6 Adults 4 kids. Kept Drinks full. Answered our every whim. She was the only one working at first, so she was doing it all. Corned beef I believe wasn't cut against the grain, so it was tough. Wings were meaty, spaghetti for two kids was good. Wraps were excellent as was the salad. We sat on The patio.

I visited Gil’s Cafe last weekend for brunch, and from the moment I stepped onto the outdoor deck, the cozy atmosphere and warm welcome set the tone for a great meal. We tried their famous fish sandwich and prime rib—both were outstanding: the fish was perfectly crispy and flaky, and the prime rib arrived medium-rare and melt-in-your-mouth tender. The coffee selection was impressive, and they even offer solid vegetarian choices like stuffed zucchini boats and hearty salads Restaurant Guru. Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, striking the perfect balance between efficiency and letting you relax.
Been here a few times under the new ownership. Food is still good, portions are a little smaller. Both times we sat at the bar, the service was horrible. Tammy had the personality of a statue. No ,hey how you doing, how’s your food, thanks, have a good night… nothin. Took her good old time getting us our drinks. Had plenty of time to text though. Literally sat in front of us at the cash register with this horrible look on her face. Maybe it was a bad day. No it wasn’t, cause she had the same garbage attitude at park social. She shouldn’t be in the service industry period. Whether behind the bar or waiting on tables. Talk about a vibe killer.
EDIT—- response to owners response. I’m glad you watched the video but you can’t see someone’s attitude from a video. Maybe you saw her texting repeatedly? Have a friend of yours come in and sit at the bar while she’s bartending. I’d love to hear their opinion.

Stopped in on Friday with my family for dinner. Our server was Tammy, not only was she kind and very polite but she suggested the pizza to share amongst the entire family! AND LET ME TELL YOU, she was not wrong!!!! Food was great but what made our experience was the service from TAMMY!! She was accommodating and very polite to myself and entire family. SHE WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND!!! I will be back for the great food but more importantly for Tammy’s awesome service!!

Since they changed hands, got rid of stellar waitresses, painted the awesome knotty pine. They are trying to be something else. I gave it a few months, but currently done. They are changing names. I do not see this local establishment going far. 20 years of my service. Good luck.
Edit-- This is not a reply to my review, this is simply a statement , something towards the community that would be stated to all customer's about the changes. Prior to any changes being made. Anyways, I wish the best.
