El Barrio Cantina & Tequila Bar

I have gone to El Barrio several times but it seems the last few timea have been truely disappointing. Made a reservation ahead of time for Cinco de Mayo but we werent seated until 35 minutes past that time. Drinks were all sour mix margaritas and in plastic cups. We could even drink them Food had no taste and was bland.Nothing came tonthe table together. We have 4 people who all waited fir eachbof our meals separately. Worse of all was the appetizer chips which were NOT homemade as they usually seem to be. These were stale tostitos brand. Im not sure Ill be going back anytime soon. The waitress did her best and was very good. I still left her a decent tip because she had no control over the poor meal.

It was Cinco de Mayo and they had too many customers for the staff. Wrong orders were given and one person in our party waited ten minutes for their food after the rest was delivered. Don't think illl be back

Truly enjoyed my experience at El Barrio. We sat outdoors on a perfect spring eveneng which made the experience even better! Staff was super-friendly and accommodating. Maybe not the most authentic Mexican I've ever had... but still quite good!

Surprisingly very good and great service. When they first opened years ago it was good then went down hill but past few times the food has been really good. Hopefully they keep up whatever they are doing different because it's a really cool spot and kids eat free on Mondays so that's a plus.

The restaurant was very nice and the food was really good, but the service was very slow and not attentive.

The food is always fantastic. Our party of 4 all enjoyed something different. Everything was HOT and FRESH!

Entering the restaurant, being greeted by Coco is great. Then to the table. The dinner never disappoints. We have awesome empanadas for an appetizer and the chimichangas were great. Both served hot and nicely presented. The margaritas of the month were tasty and refreshing. The salsa and chips served when seated were good too

Service was off tonight. I ordered one thing on menu and received something else. When waitress came by to check I said this isn't what I ordered but after long wait I didn't want to have to wait longer. She offer to have correct meal to go. I said I'm ok but she wanted to make it right. I said ok to a to go box. About 5 min later another person came out to ask if everything was OK and wanted to make sure that I wanted to pay for 2nd meal.... I said no. I only accepted as a mess up from kitchen. Never have I been told one thing only and then told to pay for mix up. Waitress was very accommodating and nice and tried to do what was best.

The food was so good!!! Great place great vibe!

El Barrio is delicious! A nice local spot for some tasty Mecican food! A small outside patio and plenty of seating inside. They have specials where kids eat free once a week. I’ve been coming here every couple of months since I moved close 4 years ago and have never had an issue with food, service, etc.

Kara was so helpful recommending our food entrees to us, she explained every meal in detail and helped us decide on getting the fajitas and an El Camino Margarita! We did chicken and shrimp and it was amazing! Kara was so kind and helpful while we were out to eat

El Barrio is right next to my house, and I love it here. I've been a regular for years, and the staff treats me so well. Great atmosphere, drinks, and food. I highly recommend
