The food is good. Prices are high for a hibachi place. Very empty during the week.

Here is something you may not have hosting a birthday party for my brother and sister in law. We wanted to blow their socks off and we did. Alex helped us plan the menu and the suggested quantity needed. He was right on. We had chicken, steak, shrimp, scallops, salad, spring rolls, edemame, rice and noodles. All I had to arrange was a cake, balloons and I chose to do rose gold disposable plates and cutlery from amazon. The sauces and salad dressings were plaxed in disposable containers for each individual.
Sam was our server. He was friendly and fun. A real marksman with his sake water cannon.(we requested sake and lots of fun for our group). Sam delivered. He set up his griddle and prepared delicious food right in front of us.
The whole party was well worth it. Surprisingly it was not as expensive as I thought. Reasonable and fair price.

Short version: Food was overcooked, below mid. Service by older staff was bad. Talked over, rushed, and treated like 2nd class until it came time to pay. Didn't even try to fake it.

We really wanted to like this place. Our dog daycare is in the area and we decided that we would stop in for some dinner before heading home as it was my partner's birthday and I wanted to treat them.

Either owner or manager greeted us, initially only spoke to my partner. We didn't understand what he was asking us initially, and he became frustrated. Stared at us from the moment we walked in until the moment we left. Was seated next to the kitchen. The older server woman couldn't contain her preconceived notions and it spilled out into the service. When asking what we wanted, spoke over me in particular and answered questions for me. She asked how I wanted my steak, I said medium... it still came back overdone. The rest of the food was also overcooked (scallops, shrimp, rice, and lo mein), except the vegetables.

I actually hadn't been treated this way in a long time. I know what it is and people reading this know what it is if you've ever experienced it from a particular type of waitstaff. My partner asked me if I was okay and was not happy with the rushed service to get us in and out. It was a stark contrast in the treatment we received vs. other patrons.

The young waitress who seemed to be helping in between was excellent and did not treat us like we were in the 1950's. I appreciated her and I hope she does well in life.

My partner said the bathroom was clean, but the door was propped open with a trash can, so all of your business was on display.

I did not complain while there because of how those things typically go. We simply asked for our check and we left.

I still tipped them 20% because I nor my partner is a jerk. However, what could have been a normal spot for us to stop into on the way to pick up our Great Dane from the daycare, will not be in the future. We'll simply find another place. I don't recommend this location just based on how uncomfortable we were made to feel, seconded by the fact that the food wasn't anything to write home about.

Honestly some of the best chicken hibachi I’ve had. Like real good sized pieces of chicken. Our waitress was nice and had perfect skin. I almost wanted to ask what she uses.

Kid-friendliness: Kids running around with lollipops. Seemed to be having a great time.
