Stopped in here for lunch on our way home from New York and had a great experience. Warm ambiance, amazing service, delicious food. Felt like we went to grandma’s house to hang out and have a meal and it was exactly what we needed.

The Barrel has one of the best Pulled Pork with onion straws Sandwiches around. The Fries were golden brown and the baked beans were a favorite too.

Today, we made our initial visit to try their breakfast offerings. Upon entering the establishment, we observed a cozy countertop bar and a few tables. However, it was not until I proceeded to locate the restroom that I discovered two additional rooms equipped with tables. We opted to sit in the front area, where it was evident that the sole waitress and her assistant were managing the entire space by themselves. Despite being understandably busy, our waitress ensured that my food arrived hot. The scrapple was particularly impressive. Loved the Atmosphere. We are already anticipating our next visit when we return next month.

Went for breakfast and had to wait a while for someone to come up to us and then was told breakfast is done being served at 11:30 (it was 11:33). If we didn’t have to wait so long we could’ve gotten breakfast. The booths in the back are gross and it smells musty. People complained about food next to us being under cooked and same thing happened when we got ours. Even the French fries weren’t cooked & the chicken looked underdone as well. I usually don’t complain or write reviews but the food just didn’t look edible at all. Not sure how they even could serve something like that and act like it was ok.

Laid back type restaurant. Really enjoyed the fish and chips meal and will order it again.

My wife and I are new to the area and wanted to try a new restaurant. I went online and saw that there was a country style diner complete with homemade desserts and huge portions. I had the Barell Burger and my wife had the Blue Burger. First off, you are really taken in by all the great decor in the restaurant. This place reminds me of Country Junction in Lehighton how they have it decorated. The coffee mugs are huge! We had dana and Carly as our servers and when I tell you these two are hands down the happiest waitresses I've ever had wait on us. You really can tell that they love thier customers. We will be back on Sunday for breakfast. Great place.

We found this place last minute for dinner. I’m always hesitant on eating at a diner type restaurant. Boy was I wrong ! This place was phenomenal! Both kids and hubby enjoyed their meal ! We will definitely come back !
