I ordered fresh basil and fresh mozzarella to be added for an extra 5.00. Whoever made the pizza put the basil on before the oven and when I picked it up, the basil looked black pieces of charred basil and there was definitely not fresh mozerella added except maybe a few tiny bits of white, hardly even noticeable. I was extremely disappointed as I have always been satisfied with Genova's in the past. No longer a customer.

We had Genova’s in Spring Grove cater our 50th anniversary party. Kelly was great to work with at every step. It had been a while since I’d done a big party and she patiently answered all my questions. The food, salads and bread were plentiful and delicious.Kelly delivered everything we needed on time and helped the party go smoothly. Thanks so much!

This is a timeless restaurant. Meaning, I was away for 10+ years and returned for my favorites. Wouldn't you know. Same great taste I remember! And recently found gluten-free pizza that's the best tasting also.

Went there for lunch waited for more than 10 minutes, the two booths in front of us said waited over 25 minutes to get their food , (just arrived as we were leaving.) The booth next to us left after 5 minutes for the waitress to come over. No waitress, they left. After over 10 minutes for the waitress to come over to our table we left as well. They also add a charge to your bill (before tax) if you use a credit card, than tax the charge. Food is good but the service has gotten bad, rather go elsewhere

One of my go to local pizza shops in my area. I frequent all the pizza shops and this is my favorite to get pizza and my daugthers favorite to get a spaghetti dinner, which is big enough for her to have for 3 meals. Fresh made bread for the subs is great. All their fried apps are made perfect. Now on the weekends they do get busy so expect to wait but it's worth the wait. Another thing that has kept me coming back is that they give back to the locals. During Covid they offered for any school children to come in and get a free slice of pizza or small pasta dish while the schools were closed. That has stayed with me because I too was at home at the time as my place of work was shut down for 4 months and I never had to worry about my daughter getting a hot lunch at that time.

Had ordered an Italian sub for my father and it was never given to me for him. I had called back and arranged that they give him the sub and give him a refund. I am very unhappy that when he arrived they were very upset that he was there asking for his sub. They had no idea that an order was sent out incorrectly or that he was to be given a refund. All of this to get some mediocre pizza and some subs, Better just going somewhere else!

The place for dinner here in Spring Grove! So they are not the cheapest place around but there is a reason this place is always busy, because they are good! The food is always tasty and the staff really tries to take good care of you. They have the best cauliflower pizza crust option and their pasta dinners are fantastic!

I'm irritated that I ordered shrimp scampi that was around $20+ and made it home and there was only unseasoned spaghetti noodles. I immediately called (just 15 mins before they closed) this location and the guy who answered the phone said he saw the rest of my order still there and was sorry he forgot to put it in my bag. He told me that he would credit my phone number for the food I purchased for a future order. I waited about a month or so later to order with them again. Explained to the same mgr that was there the night of my original order, my expectations of a $20+ credit. She tells me she can only credit me $8 because I received the unseasoned spaghetti. Ma'am the most expensive part of my meal was missing. This is backward. THE SHRIMP SCAMPI!! She refused to give me the credit. Needless to say I left with nothing at all...not even the $8 because they wanted to force me to spend it in more food. With this service or lack there of, I didn't want their food and they will NEVER see another dime of mine. If I could them 0 stars, I would.
