I go mostly for breakfast. For some reason the omelets and scrambled eggs are not presented fluffy, instead they are wafer thin and lay flat on the plate. They get lost on the plate if you order home fries. That is my only complaint. Pancakes are wonderful plate sized, thick and fluffy served hot off the griddle. Truly the star breakfast item. The breakfast meats are average, nothing outstanding. Service is usually quick and pleasant. The prices are very reasonable for what you get.

We came in today, after not coming in for a few years and it wasn’t a good experience. We were asked what we wanted to drink before we even had menus. Then when we got them to look over they charge to change the type of bread on a sandwich and charge to add cheese. I ordered a sandwich and asked for mayonnaise and when it came there was enough butter to give someone a heart attack & then a small smear of mayo on top of the butter! I didn’t even eat the bread I was up charged for. The check was out on the table when we got our food so even if we wanted to order something else we would have had to track down on waitress. We were not given extra napkins, and had a child with us & after my coffee was gone The waitress took the cup, and I had to ask after she started walking away if I could have some water. My food wasn’t the only plate that was lack luster. If this is typical, then I’m assuming ice cream is the only thing keeping this place open.

In the Year of Our Lord Twenty Twenty-four, when even children selling cookies have figured out how to take electronic payment, Papertown is cash only.
Okay, I guess - I just went to Hardee's. I'd rather support a small business, but the coorperare burger chain actually wanted my money. I wonder if the owner will see this review, or if I should telegram them instead? Perhaps a carrier pigeon?

Breakfast was great. Pancakes are THICK! Cash only, but I believe there is an ATM if needed.
Parking: I believe you can park at the creamery next door if needed. Hear good things about that place, too.
The food was good, had bean soup there that reminded me of how my mother in law made it with PA Dutch ribbles in it. In case you don't know what a ribble is , it is a dough ball.
