I held a gathering of 29 friends and family several weeks ago, and could not have asked for a better experience. Karleigh gave great advice on planning, all meals were delicious….everyone raved about the crab cakes. Our server was superb…..competent, timely and unintrusive. My friends and family all commented on how impressed they were with the entire event.

Stick to menu for crab cakes and prime rib. Steak special was very tough with lots of gristle. Hard to cut with steak knife and a chore to chew,I expected better for $40. Have eaten here many times. Disappointed

My husband and I just enjoyed a delicious dinner. First time here in a while and not sure why. Food, service and atmosphere are always great. The Filet and Halibut were both cooked perfectly. I was wishing for more of the tomato saffron butter sauce, but otherwise perfect. Our server, Debbie, was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu. She mentioned they have half price wine bottles on Wednesday so we plan to try that very soon. Lots of wine and cocktail choices. We ordered Blueberry Crumb Pie and Carrot Cake to go and they were also delicious.

Our Babyshower event was so enjoyable- the owner Karleigh was so wonderful and accommodating- On the day of the Shower her manager & waitress were excellent, so attentive & very helpful- the food was also very delicious-- We couldn't have picked a better place for our celebration! Thank you so much, Marina IngersollDietary restrictions: In our party we had a few that had Dairy free, Gluten-free & Lactose Intolerance allergies--all were accommodated!

This is a nice restaurant and the food is good. My complaint is not about the restaurant but the patrons and how they dress to go out for dinner. Diners across from us wore logo tshirts, sneakers, cargo shorts. Others had on dirty workboots, hoodies and dirty jeans. It's hard to find a restaurant that patrons dress nicely. Very disappointing. I just expect at a minimum clean pants, collared shirts, blouse , etc.

Excellent meal last night. Loved the flounder stuffed with crabmeat. Others in my party had the lamb and the duck...everyone enjoyed. If you like mussels go for the appetizer. 4 of us shared. Delicious! Chris the server was attentive as well. Top notch!

This is one of our Friday “go to” places. Servers are great (Chris is always great) and front-end management is very responsive. My husband and I are a little challenged mobility wise and staff is always very accommodating. We have enjoyed many of the menu items and specials as well.

Food was good. Ordered the prime rib and at least a third (if not more) was a huge chunk of fat. I know prime rib is fatty, which gives it it's flavor, but seriously more than a third of the portion. That is the reason for the low score. Service was slow. They seemed to be extremely under staffed. There were three times the number of bus people than waiters. Maybe some of the bus staff should be promoted to wait staff. Maybe they weren't expecting so many people on a Sunday night. With all that said the food and drinks were good. Will try on a week night to see if service is better.

At Tavern Spring House, the service was a bit lacking, with the waiter hard to find, though friendly. The burger was a tad dry, but the crab cake sandwich was a highlight. Fries were mediocre, but the beer selection impressed. Overall, a mixed experience worth considering

Ok ok I was not convinced this place would be good but I had to try it. Let's just say it's 5 stars. Mostly because our server Annemarie was fabulous. The old fashioned was made proper. No muttle, the right cube... flawless. Then the food, so delicious. Crab cakes?! Yes. This place nails the crab cake. My halibut came out hot and perfectly cooked. The food all arrived at the right time. Honestly no complaints. Not one. All in all I'm planning on going back. I will request Annemarie everytime. Good service is unforgettable.

Christopher was an excellent member of the waitstaff who was friendly, knowledgeable and expertly attentive. From walking in the door til we bid goodbye the experience was wonderful. Drinks were well appointed, the food was delicious and served in a timely fashion. We will certainly return and Springhouse Tavern for another wonderful experience.
