Everything here hits. The galbi is rich and tender, the bulgogi is perfectly marinated, and the kimchi jjigae feels like a warm hug from inside your belly.
Big respect to Mr. Kim, who clearly runs this place with heart. The vibe is welcoming, service is fast, and the entire staff knows what they’re doing.
Now… let’s talk about Brian. He wasn’t our server, but his thiccc samgyupsal made a serious impression. I wanted to throw it on the grill, wrap it in lettuce, and dip it in ssamjang. Perfect texture. Great sear. 10/10 would eat respectfully.
And that humongous bulge-golgi? Let’s just say… if he stood too close to the table, there’s a very real risk of cups, chopsticks, and plates getting knocked over. Some sticky substances might even splash on your face.
If you’re planning a visit, ask for Brian. We came for dinner. We left full. Like, suspiciously full. 😉

This is me and my friends all time favorite restaurant to eat together. The food is incredible and the staff always has specials going on that they share with us for free and it’s delicious. The space is always clean as well and comfortable. I will always come to Surah even if I live far away.

Feels dirty. Interior is always cluttered. Honestly looks like a health hazard. It's always dark in there, and not in the way that works for a high end restaurant. I think they keep the lights dim because they don't want you to see the dirtiness too clearly. Can't imagine what the kitchen looks like. Ew... Servers don't care. Food is meh. I've been here a few times not because I wanted to but because of other people. I would never recommend this place.

It's BYOB. 😄😋😘 My friends had a wonderful time here. We tasted all different kinds of korean BBQ, soup, and noodles. Wow, korean BBQ is unbelievably good.

First time trying Korean BBQ, and it did not disappoint. We were a group of eight—friends and colleagues—seated in a private room, and the experience was top-tier. We got to grill a variety of meats—pork belly, chicken, and some incredible marinated cuts—paired with lettuce wraps, rice, kimchi, and all the classic sides. The food was fire, the service was fast, and the vibe was just right—chill, quiet, and perfect for a night out with friends. Highly recommend giving this place a shot! 👌😋
