I judge a Chinese restaurant on their hot n sour soup. Valley Wok's was wonderful I'd say tied with the best I've ever had comparable to Lee's in Aberdeen Maryland.

stopped for lunch while traveling through the area. Hands down the best Chinese food I've had in years. Fried Ragoons were fresh and flavor bombs. The won ton soup was so tasty and not salty. So glad we stopped. Thank you!

Love the food and the wait times are short. Though I will say for the first time in my life I intentionally left a bad tip. I sort of jokingly asked my server -- do they at least pay her more than the average server wage for taking all those phone calls (I am a server and make $2.83/hr so I live off tips). I was really pointing out the fact that she does more work than a regular server, I was trying to be nice. She defensively came back with "No, they pay me good. I'm not living off of $2 an hour". That was pretty offensive to me, and the truth of it was I waited a long time on her and the other servers were picking up the slack, but I saw how much work she had in front of her (Saturday dinner) so I never copped an attitude. I said back "oh, well I do" in reference to the "$2/hr" comment and I left a short tip. That was rude, I make like $20-40/hr depending on the day, and hopefully she learned something from it. Plenty of my customers have asked about how my pay works and I've never once felt the least bit defensive about it. This was the only time I ever had a long wait there and it wasn't anyone's fault; they were just busy on a weekend. Despite the fact that I didn't like that specific interaction with my server, I will still always go back for their food -- and would encourage anyone else to as well.. it is some of the best Chinese food I've had and I'm picky about my Chinese spots. Otherwise every person I've dealt with has been nothing but friendly.
We’re the only dining group in the restaurant but it took more than 40 minutes for our dish to arrive. Multiple take out orders got their food picked up before us. It’s clearly what they prioritized on. The food came in half warm and the taste is very average. I’m surprised by all the positive reviews. Not worth the hype.

Finally, I had the chance to check out this place, and it did not disappoint! The portions are large, and the amount of meat in the dishes was plentiful. We had beef lo mein, chicken lo mein, and shrimp and broccoli. The only negative I would say is that the dinner specials should be for both dine in and take out. They are only available for takeout, which is the only rwaon I am giving 4 stars.

We went there with big family. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Food was amaizing and taste delicious. We loved it. My nephew end up forgetting his bag with his phone and money in it. I can't thank the owner enough for his honesty and kindness, he went above and beyond to not only hold it for us but also ship it back to my home!! I highly recommend dinning here for delicious food and good people!

This was a planned trip based on word-of-mouth from friends who've been here.
They are open every day except Tuesday and there's plenty of free parking.
I do not yet know if this is typical here but they are running the lunch menu with one single server. She's moving quickly. We waited perhaps seven minutes to be approached for our drink order. We went ahead and ordered our food as well.
We both ordered General Tsao's Chicken with fried rice. Sandy opted for the eggroll and I got the Hot & Sour soup.
Two minutes later our server brought our drinks as well as wontons and duck sauce.
Five minutes later she brought each of us an eggroll. We reminded her that I ordered the soup. She apologized, brought my soup and I got a free eggroll, which was homemade and delicious.
The entree was not disappointing either. Plentiful and perfectly spicy. The soup was also spot-on.
There was so much on our plates we had to request boxes to enjoy it again later.
Such a satisfying meal at $12 each is an incredible find.
I highly recommend a visit is you're in the area.
