Food was excellent. Table was set for 2 when we had 3. Had reservations and it was not busy. Service was subpar!!! Waitress was not attentive unless you were a regular and we reflected in her tip. Had to ask for water multiple times. Felt like an afterthought while she was buzzing by and socializing with the regulars next to us. Food was great but won't be back. Sad because this was a birthday celebration.

My in-laws Jeannette and John Smoll used to go there at least monthly back in the early 90’s. They got to know the owners and became good friends, so much so that my wife and I were married at Christ Luthern Church a few doors away just so we could all walk over to the Springtown Inn afterwards for our reception dinner. The food and atmosphere were just perfect. We completely forgot to get a cake so they baked one right on the spot. There’s much more to the story, but they made our wedding day a most cherished memory. In fact, today is our 34th wedding anniversary, July 27, 1991. We don’t live in the area so I was very happy to see that you are still in business after all these years. I hope we can get back there one day!

Sad, The Springtown Inn was our 'go to' years ago. Very poor service on our last visit. Our server abandoned us midway through our meal. We had to flag down other servers for our requests. Just plain rude. Food is very good, but we waited 40 mins for a simple order. Not even offered a roll or crackers with drinks. I guess they are just tired of being bothered with customers.
Prime rib is so difficult to find that every time I go, I order the same thing rendering me not fit to write a fair review, but if it's prime rib you crave, this is it.
Parking: Dark and uneven walking path to and from your car but the dining experience makes it an excellent choice. I took a light the 2nd time I went which helped. Seniors and those who walk with trepidation should look down and hold onto a companion. This is not criticism. It's part of living in the most beautiful part of the country.

Beautiful old stone restaurant, full bar ,prime rib was excellent. Very limited menu in the dining room as we weren't told anything about the tavern room or it's seperate menu. Weren't offered water with our meal or butter with our rolls. Great meal and happy to have finally experienced the place as it's been on my must do list, however, I dont feel thè need to go back

Apologize for posting a little late. My family and I wanted to comment on our Thanksgiving dinner experience. I had never been to the Springtown Inn before. Absolutely lovely Inn! Long story short, there was a slight issue with our dinner reservation. The owner and All staff members came together and made sure we had a table to sit at and eat our Amazing Thanksgiving dinner! Everyone kept checking on us to make sure we all had what we needed. At the end of our Amazing meal, we tried to pay our bill. The owner would not allow us to pay due to the mishap regarding the table reservation. We all just wanted to say Thank you again to the owner and all staff members that day that were so kind and caring! Time spent with family is so important, you all made our day even more special! Thank you all for your exceptional kindness!!! Will definitely be returning soon! Happy Holidays
