I eat here once a month - it’s where I go to relax. It’s down-to-earth and free of any pretentiousness. While the menu is basic, I’ve never been disappointed with the food. It’s always piping hot and tasty. They always have a real ale and a local ale on tap which I like. My only grumble is it’s hard to see the canned beer in the fridge: they really need a printed list.
My favorite little local tavern! They may be small, but their food is incredible and they always have unique and creative monthly drinks which keeps things interesting! They also have more bar events than any spot I know of... Trivia, bingo, Cornhole tournaments - they know how to keep the community engaged. All but one of the bar tenders are extremely friendly and accommodating & I can see why this is a daily spot for many locals. It definitely gives you that "Cheers"...
Hands down best wings and house made sauces in the area! Cool little spot to have an affordable, delicious meal, grab a pint, and find some good conversation.
