Johnny's Bar & Steakhouse

While visiting Lancaster County area with some friends this past weekend for my 21st we stumbled across Johnny's Steakhouse. Upon seeing the reviews my hopes were high and I was ready for a good steak. The hostess greeted us up on entry and our waitress arrived at our table shortly after. We were immediately read the nightly specials and were asked about ordering drinks. Swiftly, our drinks arrived and we ordered appetizers (bacon cheese fries and onion rings). The portion sizes were MASSIVE and easily satisfied the 4 of us. Some time later our steaks arrived and were cooked to a perfect medium-rare, juicy and tasty as could be. I will definitely be returning on our next trip!

We arrived at opening time on a Saturday so were seated promptly. The waitress was pleasant and attentive until a larger group
Was seated behind us that ordered cocktails and appetizers in addition to their food all of which arrived before ours even though they arrived well after us. I assume waitress felt a bigger tip was expected . Our steaks were a bit hard to cut(filets) , the salad was nothing special and the frnch fries were worst I ever had. Overall was not worth the higher prices.

Food was so amazing. Wasn't that interested in the steak. The chicken was better. The sides make you melt. Place had great staff and atmosphere.

It was a busy day in Lancaster, everywhere had a wait, but we found Johnny's, it was amazing food! Our filet mignon was perfectly cooked, and the asparagus was wonderful, and the potatoes were yummy! Next time we head up there, we will enjoy Johnnys again.

Always spot on. This chef gives the Log Cabin a run for the money. Everything is consistent and perfectly cooked. This has become our favorite date night place. It can get cool so bring a jacket!

Ribeye had alot of tendons and you had to struggle with a steak knife to cut it. The colossal crab meat excellent.

Steak was too well done, Couldn't eat it, wanted to tell waitress but she never came around to ask if everything was OK.

We went to Johnny's Steakhouse to celebrate our anniversary this week. We enjoyed pork chops and Ginger Seared Ahi Tuna and cinnamon roll cheesecake for dessert.All recommended by our waitress,Donna, who helped to make it an enjoyable experience . Thanks Donna , we'll come back for sure!

This is a great place for dinner with friends. We have been there before and we were not disappointed in our return. The atmosphere is a comfortable venue. The menu is diverse, and the food is well prepared. Our group ordered prime rib, short ribs, steak, and a chicken dish. Everyone was pleased with their food, the preparation, and the size of the portions. Our server was attentive, polite, friendly, and efficient. I will definitely be returning in the near future.

There was no waiting to be seated at our table for 2, and our waitress was prompt to greet us and courteous throughout the meal. The atmosphere is pleasant and not overly noisy as some bars can be. Our drinks and appetizer can quickly and were satisfactory. The dishes we ordered were tasty and filling, but the cost seemed to be a bit high for the amount of food received. We have had similar meals at other places for ~2/3 the cost. Ours was a special occasion, but probably will not return any time soon.
