I moved to East Stroudsburg 6 months ago. We've been going to the Stroudsburg BJs which is about 5 miles from our house. We have a BJs membership from when we lived in NJ. We frequented the BJs in Riverdale and Wayne, NJ, both of which are bigger than Stroudsburg. The Stroudsburg BJs seems to be a bit dated and needs an upgrade--including a tire center. I've been finding myself traveling to the closest COSTCO store, in Wharton, NJ, which is about 33 miles from where we live, and sometimes go to the COSTCO in Allendale, PA (37 miles). If I want tires from BJs, I have to travel to Ledgewood, NJ (27 miles), which is the closest BJs, to get my tires serviced. The Stroudsburg BJs used to have different washing machine soaps and Shout laundry stain remover, but doesn't carry these items anymore. I have to travel to COSTCO to get them. I'm a little disappointed in the Stroudsburg BJs, but it seems nothing will change because they have a "captive audience". Time to do my shopping elsewhere.

I've been going to the BJ's for a few months now accompanied by my non verbal 6 yr old autistic son. He has this thing with paper that I pick up after. One of the employees was like "HEY GIVE ME THAT DON'T RIP IT" and I responded that is my child and you address me and I am picking it up. That passed. Ok, I went 2 weeks ago and they were giving candy samples and my child wanted a chocolate and then another and the lady said "ONE! WITH AN ATTITUDE" My child doesn't understand this and goes around to get another chocolate and I go towards him. The server literally had her hands on my child for a damn chocolate. I lost it. I grabbed her arm and told her not to touch my son. I then complained to the manager and she gave me a BS excuse saying "not to justify her, but some kids take candy and run" WHAT!? And just in case anyone is wondering my child does not leave my side at all he's not a flight risk.

Our family has a membership at this BJ's and we shop here almost every week. Their prices are fair and they have tons of coupons in their circular that make their prices well worth the cost of membership. The store is well kept and they have quality stock. Members can also get gas here at a discounted rate which is a nice perk.

Place was fully stocked. Only stopped by here as I had the $25 joining mailer and saw it in the car and decided hey there's one here, let me sign up now. Staff was nice. Grabbed a few items too.

I bought coffee creamer here recently and it was bad. They refused to take it back or give me store credit. I will not be shopping here again and will never renew my membership.

You to need retrain your management, i'm not easy to get upset . I went to ask about a coupon on my bj online coupons i was trying to show them there was two with the same date and what i got was i can't do nothing the computer is telling me is already on your sale and i was showing them it is two different ones and the male manager was saying i can't do anything.. but he fail to realize i ran a mall and yes you can try to fix it even with a written information so he won't be short and you helped with customer care. VERY IMPORTANT CUSTOMER SERVICE..

Only allowing 1 unit of milk per customer. Yes there's a pandemic but I'm seeing rows and rows of milk and rest shelves bare and all I want is 2 not 8 just 2. Disgusting.

I HAVE WRITTEN TO YOUR ORGANIZATION NUMEROUS TIMES AND HAVE NOT RECEIVED A REPLY CONCERNING THE LENOVO COMPUTER THAT I PURCHASED AT BJ'S WITH A 3 YEAR WARRANTY FROM ASURION WHO TELLS ME THAT LENOVO COVERS MY COMPUTER AND LENOVO TELLS ME THAT THEY DO NOT COVER MY COMPUTER BECAUSE I NEED TO GO TO ASURION. WILL SOMEBODY PLEASE LISTEN TO YOUR CUSTOMER AND HELP ME. I HAVE ALREADY PURCHASED A NEW COMPUTER (NOT A LENOVO) FROM ANOTHER STORE (NOT BJ'S) AND WITH NO EXTENDED WARRANTY BECAUSE IT IS USELESS.

I just left BJ's looking for toilet tissue. The sign above toilet paper stated 2 packs per customer. An employee on duty has three bundles of tissue in Cart paying for them. I ask don't your sign posted state 2 bundles per customer? The lady at customer service ringing it up states "it is two orders" . Really one person two orders!!' BJ's corporate look into this matter and get it corrected immediately. I'm your customer and was unable to purchase toilet tissue do your your staff inappropriate action. Shame on them and you.

We had my sons 1st birthday party this weekend. After searching forever to find someone who would make the cake we wanted for a reasonable price we ended up at BJs in stroudsburg, showed them a picture and they said oh yes! We can do this no problem.

I can't believe after all the power outages we experienced Cyber Monday, that after I finally got power back and scrambled to get my order placed before midnight, couldn't find my BJ's credit card and tried calling multiple store numbers that were unavailable because of the time, settled for using a different card, but didn't realize that I missed the midnight cut off by seconds and was charged the full price. After 2 days off talking to staff members, they refuse to honor the sale price regardless of the circumstances and won't cancel the order. I have to cancel through UPS myself or return the items myself. So I'm out of the Christmas presents I was so happy to be able to give and have to now deal with more aggravation sending back items that they refuse to keep themselves. They lost me as a customer but I don't think they even care.

I'm not writing this review about the store I'm writing it about their management. I went to apply for a job got the interview was super excited got there and the gentleman asked me to wait down stairs well he went up after a few mins came down and told me I could go up. I went up went into the room he told me to where there was several other employees. Then a women stood up and asked me to follow them to the other room where she took nothing with her none of my paper work. I get into the room and she right away looks me up and down in a judgemental way. She then tells me they have a policy where you can't have extreme colored hair ( mine was purple) I just I totally understand I will most definitely change the color if I get the job. Then she tells me that I can't have my piercings which again I'm fine with taking them out. Finally she hits me with it " ok so do all that and then call us back for a new interview" I'm sorry no it shouldn't matter what my hair color is or if I have a few piercings my work ethic is me no matter what I look like. I'm not going to change myself for you that's not right at all this is 2019 you can't discriminate against people for how they look.
