If I could I would give 0 zero stars but it wasn't an option. I was so happy to find a good fishmonger. Well I ran down twice. Closed both times. 15 MI each way. Second time was day before v day. Called ahead. Voice-message said open. Ran 30 miles again. Closed. First time in I spent over 200 dollars. FYI. Shop Rite just up the road has beautiful sea food ,better selection, and better prices. Thank you Shop Rite.

Stopped by to see what they had, not much. Very little selection and prices were very high. Sadly I think fish markets are going to be extinct.

I bought cod today. The fish stank and I threw it in the bin. And the price is twice as high as in supermarkets. I do not recommend

Walked in and ordered 8 dozen clams for the next day and the man said no problem you bring me the cooler and I’ll fill it with ice and clams

A recent visit to Blue Ocean was unfortunately less satisfying than expected. Despite a round trip of an hour, we arrived at the Fish Market to find it closed, which was quite disappointing. This was particularly puzzling as their voicemail greeting, website, Facebook page, and Google listing, all mention they would be open until 5pm, but we were there just after 4pm.Clear, accurate information about your operating hours could really improve the customer experience. This small adjustment could prevent confusion and disappointment for future guests. Looking forward to a successful visit next time.

NO KINDNESSIn my effort to support small business owners in my area, I called to to ask the price and availability of fresh Salmon. Here is the conversation…Me: Hi sir, do you have fresh Salmon available.Him: We have two types of Salmon. What type are you looking for?Me: What types do you have?Him: I asked you a question….what type are you looking for???Me: Hung up the phone. The whole exchange on his part was hostile and unprofessional. If you treat people with kindness and respect, you can sell them anything!Stay away and go to ShopRite!!!
