Out of town first time visit -not coming back!
This place lacks customer service - Spanish older lady is rude and unprofessional -I didn't feel welcomed at all, makes you feel like you are doing everything wrong - when no one takes 2 seconds to kindly explain you their process for ordering food or seating. Signs are definitely a must! Such a disappointment, was looking for a group of us to have a nice breakfast and it was the complete opposite.

Here’s a story. I walked in and asked where the end of the queue was, people in the queue said it was at the back opposite the entrance, so I went there. More people walked in and started queuing by the entrance. Few minutes later I walked to the register and the black lady who was queuing at the wrong place said that she was standing after the gentleman and it’s her turn. As well as another black lady after her. I completely disregarded her since she clearly wasn’t aware of the queue direction. I placed my order, then they both did. And you know what? The guy who was making coffees prepared their orders first, making me wait !!
If he thinks that was a good thing to do, well he was wrong. Here’s where the bad review comes from. He needs to organise some queue signs to prevent this from happening again , unless he was just trying to put me down in favour of those women who were in fact wrong.
Other than that, the coffees are good and the food is nice too.

The patio is lovely, the rainbow samwich is excellent and the staff is very sweet.
Cafe Duet is a gem. If I were local, I would come here all the time. Ended up ordering two sandwiches and pastries simply because I couldn't choose between the abundance of amazing options. The service was also outstanding. Both of the baristas were delightful and helpful. I will certainly be back when I am in the area!

Hosted our daughter’s 1st birthday here. The food selection was amazing, service on point, and atmosphere was perfect. We had people traveling hours to come here. It was perfect, Cafe Duet made the night memorable, going off without a hitch. I would absolutely host another event at cafe duet, incredible experience.
