A very cozy café with a beautiful interior and a lovely courtyard. The selection of pastries is great. You're sure to find something delicious for breakfast there. We ordered the Breakfast Sandwich and the Roasted Mushroom + Smoked Gruyère Sandwich, adding ham to the latter. Both sandwiches were delicious. We also tried the Dulce de Leche Bundt cake, which had a generous amount of condensed milk and was very soft. I definitely recommend this place for a nice breakfast or brunch with a friend.

Whilst I have enjoyed the coffee and atmosphere here for quite some while, I was taken aback by the passive aggressiveness of one of the staff members here. I have been coming to this location for weeks and have purchased a coffee and/or food almost every single day amounting to >$100 in supporting the cafe. One not-busy Saturday afternoon, I had decided to not purchase a coffee and to use the space to get some note-taking done. Now, I understand that the space is preferred for people who have bought a drink or food, but I would hope that I would be given grace to use the space on the one occasion that I did not purchase anything - especially, since the space was not busy/not full of customers. The one staff member approached me with such a passive aggressive manner that felt very unwelcoming. She gave no grace whatsoever, despite seeing me there nearly every day over the course of the last few weeks (in which each day I purchased something). Whilst I am a “customer” to the establishment, her attitude and passive aggression stripped me from feeling like a “community member”. Instead of passively aggressively saying, “…this space is for PAYING customers only…”, she could have been kinder by saying something along the lines of, “Hi, how are you! Everything doing well? Looking to get a drink or food? We love to have you here and would appreciate you supporting the space by purchasing something”. I ask for this one staff member to do better and not see people only as “customers”, rather “community members”. It truly sets the tone. And while I love the other staff members and food and beverages at this cafe, I am not very happy with the negative approach of one of the staff members. As someone who has experienced not feeling welcomed in certain places, she had struck a chord within me by her comment. I will update my rating with time. For now, please be kinder.
Parking: The best place to park is on Sarah Street between 5th and 6th streets OR 7th and 8th streets. The rate of parking is $0.50/hour as opposed to $1.00/hour on other streets. Saves you money and you get a nice walk in!

Every request , such as syrups or heavy cream was met with an offer of something very different with no apology. Felt like friendly arrogance.

The rainbow sandwich is still the only vegan item on their menu besides the chocolate peanut butter cupcake. It was good but kinda small. I was hungry again an hour later.
Just excellent! Loved the backyard seating. Going here made our day!

Wayne's French-themed Cafe in the heart of beautiful Stroudsburg you will not be disappointed. If you're into 1800s America is the place for you.

Cool little cafe spot with a small but great menu. The breakfast sandwich was delicious and I swapped out the regular bun for a croissant and it was amazing. Parfait was delicious and so was the latte. I don't see myself back in the area any time soon but if I do I'm definitely stopping back in. They also had a decent amount of baked good that all looked delicious.
