I came here with my family, including my 5 and 3 year olds, while we were traveling in the area. We prefer more local spots and this was definitely full of locals and had a lovely hometown atmosphere. The server was friendly and we even loved chatting with other guests. The kids menu made my kids happy and I was excited there were so many gluten free options. My husband had the Rueben with an onion ring appetizer and both were delicious, especially the homemade horseradish sauce....
WOW! Mushroom appetizer (with optional sausage or lobster) was wonderful. Manhattan cocktail delicious. Gouda burger was better than good, it was GOUDA!! Ribeye was AMAZING (and I am sooooo picky about my steak) the potatoes were wonderful and the asparagus was the best I’ve ever had. Sorry we don’t live closer but SO GLAD we found this gem on our travels!
I have lived here for 5 years and finally made it to this place for Mother's Day. All I can say is: YOU ALL THROW DOWN! I was impressed by how well you treated my mom by giving her the Au Poivre with a medallions of perfectly cooked filet mignon. And the steak sauce was so silky and rich.
