Happy Hour Bar and Grill

I've been holding off posting a review to make sure the excellence I've experienced here was going to be consistent. It has been. The Happy Hour has literally undergone a "Renaissance" in the past year or so. The food is prepared with the care I'd expect from a much higher priced venue, and the menu varies weekly with different features to keep the frequent diner such as myself from becoming bored. Of noteworthy (in my opinion) recent examples have been features such as Chilean sea bass, fried catfish and a surf and turf. The service is also good, and the bar is being managed well. If you haven't tried the Happy Hour, or haven't visited recently, give it a try.

Sam, our server, was a one woman show! Not only was she the manager but appeared to be the only server, and doubled as a bartender. Then, when we asked for cocktail sauce she returned having made it herself as there was none available - and it was fantastic!

I organized a "going away" party for a coworker. It was a pleasure working with Sam. She was very helpful and flexible with the number of guests we might have. Once we got to the restaurant, let me tell you Sam and Darilyn were wonderful. Those two ladies hustled around the dining area, making sure everyone was settled had drinks, food orders, food service and cleaning up. And they also had other guests in the restaurant to tend to! Everything went so smoothly thanks in large part to them. The food and atmosphere were great. Thanks from Peggy

Saturday night steak night was amazing. Steak so tender it cut like butter. Potatoes, asparagus and steak seasoned and cooked beautifully. Even the Caesar salad was dressed perfectly.

My brother and I have been coming here for lunch once a week for a few weeks now. I really like this place. I have tried chicken wings, cheesesteak and BLT (which is actually quite unique and my favorite, so far). Food is outstanding. My brother and I always sit at the bar and the bar tender is GREAT - really you could not ask for a friendlier person and she goes the extra mile to make sure you're happy with your experience. Don't know if you can consider my brother and I regulars yet - but I intend to be!

We had little expectations coming into the restaurant but we're pleasantly surprised and impressed. Food was good and the Service Friendly. They had a new event going on which delayed things but we were okay with that as they apologized. The Chef was great when we inquired about the dishes for the event and even allowed us to taste one of the dishes. Making sure we knew it was cold. It was nice to see a bar trying to elevate their service and food. I would highly recommend . And encourage anyone to try if one of their dinner events.
