food was good, service was good. but we saw a cockroach on our table unfortunately so we lost our appetite 🥲

Wonderful experience, excellent food (highly recommend the shrimp tempura roll), reservations were easy to make and location was spacious. Our Hibachi chef could have interacted more, but in his defense our group had not seen each other in years and we were interacting with each other. Overall an excellent hibachi experience in a relatively out-of-the-way location!

Ichiban Steakhouse is a fantastic place for a fun and delicious dining experience! The food is outstanding—especially the hibachi dishes, which are cooked to perfection right in front of you. The chefs are entertaining and skilled, making the meal exciting and memorable. The sushi is also fresh and beautifully prepared. Great service, lively atmosphere, and excellent quality all around. Highly recommend!

Service is once and done. Expect to be seated, drinks ordered, food ordered, apps delivered and then the check. Don't expect a refill checkup in between or to see wait staff again until after your meal. If you forgot to ask for lemon with your water, you're either not getting lemon or you're getting up out of your seat to inform wait staff. Chef was mediocre. Noodles were half cooked. There was no major performance during the hibachi, but the food itself wasn't cooked that great either. Uneventful and would prefer a perfectly cooked meal than the illusion of hibachi that was presented. Some places have great food but lack performance, others have great performance but lack great food...this place needs improvement all around. Good sushi though. Go here for sushi.

The food was great and the service was amazing. The wait staff is very attentive. We had 3 kids that were 6 and under and the Hibachi chef made sure to make them feel included and have fun.

The food was excellent and so was the chef, my issue was the waiter. We had 3 people and multiple drinks so the bill was a decent amount. We tipped the chef in cash after he cooked so when the bill came I left another tip for the waiter which was obviously less because your food is cooked in front of you and the wait staff does a lot less than the cooks in my opinion. I still left a 15% tip for the waiter which again in my opinion is pretty standard especially when we tipped the chef separately. The waiter apparently didn’t like that and after I paid came back to the table and COMPLAINED about how much tip I left. Not only was this extremely unprofessional but super uncomfortable because there were other people at our table. I explained that we had cashed tipped the chef and he still expected more. I have been here multiple times and I’ve NEVER experienced this before and after this I don’t know if I’ll ever return. I didn’t catch his name but it was the only male on the wait staff that I’ve seen there.

Very nice restaurant on the inside! it is clean with newer furniture. Staff was friendly. I got the steak and scallops; the cooked my steak perfectly and the scallops were delicious and buttery!

Disappointing Experience – Won’t Be Returning

I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but our visit to Ichiban Hibachi was a letdown from start to finish. The service was incredibly slow—even though the restaurant wasn’t full, we waited over 20 minutes just to be acknowledged.

As for the food, it was bland and overcooked. The lobster was chewy, the shrimp were rubbery, and the fried rice tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. The veggies were soggy and drenched in soy sauce. We’ve been to other hibachi places and had great experiences, but this was not one of them.

To top it off, the chef didn’t seem engaged or entertaining, which is usually one of the best parts of hibachi dining. Overall, this felt like a rushed, careless meal that wasn’t worth the price. Definitely not the quality or atmosphere we were expecting.
