Food had no spice, most bland Mexican food I have ever eaten. Salsa is just tomatoes crushed up. Fajitas where beond b lj and and small one chicken breast between the 2 fajitas. The margaritas where the only good. Think. Would not return.

Kenny is the best server/bartender in this whole state of PA. The owner is such a lovely human being who loves to get to know his customers. The passion fruit margaritas are the best!!!!! And the Philly cheesesteak quesadillas are to die for!!!! 10/10 place 10/10 service 10/10 people 10/10 food and drinks

Would not eat here my wife and I both ordered a veggie dish and had the manager come out and 86 veggies making us choose another dish so we both chose the queso burrito the inside looked like slop the rice came out of a box the queso was canned and the chicken was precooked so it had a gummy texture when telling the manager we didn’t enjoy our food we get a smart comment that he doesn’t like liver but he eats it
For 20 dollars a plate the smallest portion. Would not recommend to no one in the area. And the tortillas are from a bag not even made at the restaurant. The server was nice but that was the only thing. Edit- the picture is what I received in my to-go container, was not served at the restaurant and this is the portion I was given to go I opened it up at home and this is what I got.

Run for the hills cuz this jawns is NOTHING authentic Mexican. If you’re going to be an authentic mexican joint than serve authentic mexican food! Jeeze, who knew?! Food was so bland and the rice tasted something outta an Uncle Ben’s box! Waste of money bruh go elsewhere!

The first time I went to this place I was disappointed but I went back to give it another try. So for starters the chips and dip the salsa tasted like ragu sauce, not it. It’s not that hard to make pico! Then I had shrimp tacos for my meal the shrimp was cold was not even warm. The only good thing about this place is the margaritas. This place is like a diner who wants to portray its Mexican and it’s not.

I've eaten at Marita's 3 times now over the past 5 years, and it seems worse each time I go. The last time I went (before this visit), I literally had to race home to the bathroom (sorry for the TMI).
The only reason I went this time was because i had a gift certificate. I should've known it was going to be another bad experience........they had 3 customers (including my table) and 2 others at the bar on a Saturday at 6:30 p.m. It seems others are feeling this way about this place.
The food this time was dry, bland, and unexciting. It just looked like someone threw it together without a care. For the prices that they charge, the food should look better than that.........and taste better too.
The service wasn't much better. The staff needs more training. They had no knowledge of the menu, and when we had questions, we were left to figure out out for ourselves. We also had to wait forever for our bill despite our plates being empty and our waitress passing us several times.
I won't be back. La Tolteca is 5 minutes down the road and 100 times better.

Your reply was laughable. I wasn't there during a blizzard. It was 2 weeks ago. Nice try, though. If you actually looked at my previous Google reviews, you'd notice that I'm fair and honest......and I was with your establishment. The fact that you responded defensively instead of listening and learning says a lot about you and your business.
I'm sorry you didn't like what I had to say. Perhaps you can take it as constructive criticism and learn and grow from this. Or not. Either way, I wish you the best.
