Momento was amazing! Chef Nicola is a pure gem! From Torino, Italy originally then worked as a chef in Venice and then in NYC —he brings world class Northern Italian cuisine to this region of North Eastern PA. The focaccia is the real deal. Fluffy, light, moist simply delectable! He serves it with extra virgin and ricotta—amazing! (And you know the meal is going to be good by the amount of attention put into the bread. Next we ordered the beet and endive salad — again delectable! Then the Raviolo—a huge ravioli in a butter sage sauce. Lastly, we ended with the trout special and the puff pastry salmon. Portions are a great size. Intimate setting, finely appointed restaurant with wonderful service. It just doesn't get much better than this! Truly an amazing dining experience! We live almost 2 hours away — but we'd make that drive again for Chef Nicola's masterful cuisine. Bravissimo Chef!! ❤️❤️❤️

The food quality was very good service was excellent. Unfortunately, they didn't have one of the bottles of wine that we really wanted to have with our meal And they also did not have a dessert My wife was craving for other than that, Everything was very good. The drinks were excellent spot on

Our server was so inattentive i considered canceling and leaving. When we walked in we were greeted with nothing but side eyes and “you have reservations?” Not even a “good evening” We waited about an hour for our food, 20 minutes for drinks. We didnt get brought bread until we were there for half an hour at the least. Almost as if our server disregarded us because of our age? Maybe she thought i couldn't afford to leave a decent tip? Either way an abysmal experience on what was supposed to be a special occasion. I would never return and would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. We ordered the wagyu (amongst other things) chef recommended a rare cook, I said i wanted a medium cook and still received it extremely rare. Unreal that restaurant with these price points would give such a subpar experience. 1 star, do not and would not recommend.

Haute cuisine and an unexpected find. Chef Nicola has an outstanding list of accomplishments from some very well know restaurants in NYC. His food is beautifully crafted and equally sumptuous. We did the “basic” tasting without wine pairing and loved just about everything. If I am being super critical, the desserts were slightly underwhelming compared to the other extraordinary dishes. No doubt we will return as often as we can.

Just as good as every other time we've been. Food is top notch. Some of the best Italian style cooking I've seen outside of Italy. As of late we go for the specials as we have tasted the whole regular menu probably twice over. The oysters are my personal favorite. I still remember the time that the current wine cellar wasn't there but now with the wine cellar in full view wine pairings are just another aspect for this eatery that puts it over the top. Various classic wines from Northern Italy but also my personal favorites from Campania (Falanghina, Fiano, Aglianico) are available. If you have a problem choosing don't worry you're not the only one that is why there is a tasting menu available and when they choose the dishes you won't be disappointed but keep an open mind. Service can be a little slower but this food doesn't need a rush. It is to be savored and not rushed. Can't wait to go back.

We had a fantastic dinner. The food was delicious, and service was perfect. Had the farmer's salad as a first course. The tomatoes were unusual but tasty and fresh. For a second course had the shrimp and capellini which was perfectly seasoned and also delicious. Not a negative thing to say other than location was odd. We were so lucky to have found Momento, and highly recommend it to anyone interested in a special night out.

Another great meal from Momento! I brought my family here for the first time and they were all blown away. The quality and service are consistently outstanding. My dad got the seafood fra diavolo and said it was the best he ever had. And if you happen to have room for dessert, the deconstructed tiramisu is delicious! Looking forward to our next visit.

The food was very good but the portions were very small and the fish in the risotto seafood was very small. I got 1 scallop 3 medium shrimp 3 mini clams and 3 mussels. Definitely not worth the price and will not go back

We had a fabulous dinner to celebrate our 10th anniversary. We both loved the cream of mushroom soup as a starter. It was decadent without being overly heavy. My husband ordered the octopus and enjoyed every bite. I had the Braised Short Rib pasta. It was fantastic. The server, Gabby, was attentive without being overbearing. We would definitely eat here again.

The place is a surprising gem. Swank interior with glass wine walls as a distinctive feature. Good cocktail menu and a fantastic wine list featuring some great Italian wines. Every bite of the appetizers and entrees was delicious and the deconstructed tiramisu was delightful. Highly recommend. I will be back.

My dish was a special that night and it was just okay. Shrimp was overcooked. My husband had a risotto dish and it was undercooked. Otherwise it was a nice setting. The bread and the dessert were wonderful.

Dish after dish was oversalted. From the olive oil with the bread, to croquets, to the risotto Valencia. We dine out frequently, having returned recently from a trip to Italy where we dined at the two top Michelin restaurants in Rome. Not restaurant novices. Cut salt level in half. If more is needed, it is on the tables. Everything is not bar food to promote drinking. Branzino was a tiny portion for the price, as compared to other known restaurants. Either reduce the price or inflate the fish!

One of my top 5 destinations for fine cuisine. Owner, wine guru, chefs, waitstaff are amazing. Cordial, polite and very informative. Funny thing they're also very attractive looking as well. I digress
