Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

I tried the Never-Ending Pasta Deal and had the chicken gnocchi soup, which was really good. However, I wasn’t a big fan of the breadsticks or the Alfredo pasta. They were decent, but I’ve had better at other places.

I placed an online order. The service was great. They even accommodated my extra special instructions. However, the soup was entirely too salty and the meal was entirely too greasy to the point where you couldn't taste any flavor, but oil and salt. The breadsticks tasted old and wasn't soft.

I was seated right away, but then waited 20 minutes and NO one greeted me or ask for my order. That is not the Darden way!

I hate having to do this but I feel like it is necessary to comment on. Over the past two months my family and I have been coming into this Olive Garden during various times of the day and no matter when we show up, how many people are in the party, or whatever it may be, the service has gone down hill. I am very simple every time I go there I get soup and salad. I have had to ask to get salad because it was never given to me, been told my soup is out of stock after everyone else’s entrees have arrived, and been generally neglected. I have worked as a corporate server and currently am working as a server for two privately owned businesses and hate having to comment on others work. Every time I try to tell myself “maybe they’re having an off day” or that is isn’t their fault but it is every single time I go in. It is very disappointing and hope that some action is taken soon.

Ordered dinner to go. Ordered the large family soup advertised as enough for 12, another 12 breadsticks plus a calamari appetizer. We only ended up with 10 breadsticks when I should have had 24 since soup advertises enough for 12 plus the 12 I paid extra for. Calamari was shorted as well, I order it often at other OG restaurants and can tell it wasn’t the usual amount. Pretty frustrated since I drop almost 30 minutes.

First off the appetizers and food were good so no complaints there. But as soon as we were seated I noticed the table was wet and there were a hairs stuck to the table which is absolutely disgusting. I told our server and he did wipe down the table. Our meal was good and we ordered 2 desserts and 2 coffees afterward. He never brought our coffees. I just wanted to pay at that point. Be careful with the payment handheld device at the table! I was trying to pull up my gift card on my phone to enter the number and the device scanned my phone and inputted my credit card from my device without me even clicking on Google pay to pull up my card! I was going to use my gift card and a different credit card. The payment device also doesn't allow you to input your e-gift number only to scan it? I had to go up with the waiter to pay from his kiosk. I think he was annoyed with me too from the moment I told him about the dirty table. I honestly am not a difficult customer but I also won't sit there quietly and be given a dirty table. The whole experience from beginning to end was annoying. Thankfully the food was good but I won't be coming back unfortunately.

The food was terrible so spicy you couldn’t even eat it. The people are very nice but the food horrible I won’t be going back there ever again.
