Maybe it's just because we visited on a cold and rainy Saturday night when not many people were out, but this was a disappointment. There were only a handful of customers, yet it took nearly ten minutes to get the attention of someone to seat us. The person who sat us tried to take our order the moment he handed us menus which was odd. I was disappointed to see that this Irish bar only served two Irish beers and no true Irish food. Food was a letdown. My sandwich was a meager serving of dry meat on greasy bread that was burned on the grill. My partner's Beef Stew had literally two small nuggets of beef and no vegetables at all, just a floury, beige, slightly thick liquid that tasted vaguely of beef broth. Our server never returned to the table after taking our order other than to leave the check, instead he spent all his time sitting at the bar watching TV. This place has potential, and maybe this was an off night, but with so many other places to eat, it's not likely that we'll come back to try again.

We were looking for a place to go for Easter that wasn’t terribly expensive and we could make reservations for 8. Siamsa was having a buffet for $19.95 for adults and $13.95 for kids. For $20/person you shouldn’t expect much, but it was fantastic! Staff was super nice; food was excellent! Waffle & omelette stations, fresh fruit & pastries, hot foods including creamed chipped beef and all the regular breakfast foods you’d expect but so delicious! We’ll definitely go back for Mother’s Day!

Terrible service We were getting to know the area and we saw that this restaurant was nice to eat. We went in We sat down They asked us for our ID because we wanted to have a couple of beers. The waitress just took them without saying anything. She spoke to another person and they checked if our ID were correct. I don't understand what they think to make us feel this way, they left us at the table waiting for like 10 minutes while they checked if they were real. I have never seen this in my life. I can say that I go to a restaurant 2 or 3 times a week and that experience remained there. Terrible, after they gave them back to us we stopped and left.

Was a great lunch. I had the chicken pot pie which I was informed was updated recipe from the previous one. I never tried the previous one but I enjoyed the new one. Husband had bangers and mash. He always gets this, so must be great.I was super full after having the pretzel appetizer. So I brought home half of the pie and a cup of potato and leek soup. I have to have the soup. It is awesome.Looking forward to the next time. Our waitress Rachel was great and attentive.

Their fish and chips are soooo big that they may put you in a food coma. Truly reminded me of my visits to pubs in the UK. The only thing missing on my platter was the mushy peas like you get in the UK. My friend raved about her penne with vodka sauce. She liked the sauce and the portion was huge. Our server--sorry I can't remember her name--was vivacious, friendly, personable, just plain nice. The back bar was gorgeous, again, a ringer for the UK. A must if visiting Stroudsburg. We'll definitely be back!

Last week, on February 29th around 4:00 pm, I place a takeout order. I ordered two entrées and an appetizer when I got home the appetizer was missing the beer cheese. The whole point of ordering the french fries was to have the beer cheese. The online menu said that it came with beer cheese (the person I spoke to on the phone said the menu in the restaurant does not include beer cheese, but when they looked it up online, they said it did say that it comes with it on the online ordering) I called and I spoke to someone who said the manager will call me back. I proceeded to try my entrees (shepherds pie and corned beef) and the corned beef was the most dry I have ever had and had 0 flavor. I called the next day and spoke to the managers wife who said the manager will call me back. It’s been one week tomorrow, and still no one has called me back. All I wanted was maybe an extreme beer cheese when I order again, to make up for this time (not looking for a full refund or anything like that) after not being called back and the corned beef tasting awful, I was very disappointed. I can see not being called back the next day, or maybe even 2 days, but at almost a week, I have to assume nobody is calling me back, even though I was told TWICE that a manager would call me. Very poor service.

My English girlfriend was craving Bangers & Mash while we were on vacation in the Poconos area so we came here. We were excited to spend a large amount of money here. When we walked in, we waited for about 2 minutes before anyone greeted us, until eventually the bartender screamed across the bar to sit wherever we wanted. We thought, “great!” Our bellies were ready. While my girlfriend went to the bathroom however, they did not approach my table nor provide me with any service for roughly 10 minutes even though the establishment was pretty empty. They did not provide me with a menu or even a glass of water. I rarely use the “racist” card but my white girlfriend was convinced that this place is discriminatory as they rushed to give menus to people who looked like “them”. They made my girlfriend and I (a Black person) feel unwelcome. This place does not live up to its name. “Siamsa” is apparently supposed to mean celebration or place of amusement and this place was far from it. They should change it to “Truagh”. Bad energy and miserable people. They give Irish bars, Irish people and frankly, Ireland a bad name. They did not deserve our money so we walked out.Thank you for almost ruining our holiday with your phoniness and meanness.
