Absolutely delicious! Thank you for hosting lunch for the faculty and staff of Chipperfield Elementary! It was wonderful!
The food is fantastic and the staff are always friendly. We live 3 hours away but always make it a point to stop when we are near the area, even passing through.

You can never find a restaurant better than this in the Poconos. The noodles are a must have.

Absolutely the best!!! Not sure why this restaurant doesn’t have a high rating but our experience was phenomenal!! We were out of town visiting and stopped here twice while in the town and heading back home….
Couldn’t get any photos but ordered garlic naan, butter naan, butter chicken, goat curry, lamp biriyani, chicken cettinad, dal tadka, samosa, chili chicken, spring roll and mango lassi. Not from India so don’t know the authenticity but the food was scrumptious and recommend all these dishes!
The service is little lacking/delayed… We had kids so keeping them calm without food was difficult but the servers are still helpful even though it took time.

11/23/24 first time at new spot.
Kinda bright inside....
Samosa Chaat - good flavors, nice portion. Served as a deconstructed samosa.
Bhindi masala - good flavors, i liked it, the GF was not impressed.
Chicken Saagwala - good, plenty of chicken.
Garlic naan was good, the hot pepper naan was good for me but too hot for the GF. Ordered plain naan good but too much oil/butter on it.
3/4/19 update:
Back for more, lamb sagwala and bhindi masala both very good.
We were also here on Valentine's day and that was good as well. Still high ratings for this place. FYI order all the bread you need before the kitchen closes, they won't make more bread for you, even if your eating and the kitchen is closed...
Friendly staff, even though they were very busy with a couple of large groups. We had drinks at the bar and then we were seated in the main room. We ordered chana masala, murgh saagwala and lamb rogan josh, along with garlic naan and roti breads. Everything was really good! My GF loves Indian and has good knowledge of the cuisine (she lived in Gurgaon India for several months) and she thought the food at Spice Route was very good.
They did a nice job of revamping the old Pizza hut.
Only 4 beers on tap but they were good, one was lagunitas IPA, always a good choice ;) three Indian beers in bottles and others too.
We didn't notice any abnormal odors or anything bad. It was clean and the WC was clean too.
The portions were a good size and the price was fair for the amount of food you get. We took some home and do did many others around us.
We'll be back to try more dishes :)

The food was awesome! My brother is vegetarian and there were many choices and he said it was the best Indian food he has ever had.
Dietary restrictions: I am celiac. There were many gluten free options and the waiter checked my choice and gave awesome advice on the selections.

Wow wow wow! The best Indian dishes we have ever had. The tikka, butter chicken, and lamb Rogan Josh are noteworthy. Also the mango lassi. All incredible. Our whole family of 10 adores all 9 dishes we ordered and shared family style. (One note- I do find it odd that they charge for rice when the dishes are already pricey, I would reconsider this as an establishment. We have never had to pay extra for rice in meals where rice is a main component)
Dietary restrictions: Lots of options for gluten free niece

Super Clean! Nicely setup…Great service, Umesh was fabulous!!!
Food was really spectacular… so good that I will make the hour and half drive for it… every single item we ordered was on the SPOT!!!
Highly recommend!!! I am definitely going back and can’t wait to explore other menu items.
I used to go to Mings Palace in Edison for Pan Asian… but this was way better!!!
If at the pocono outlets or in the area for Kalahari or Camelback… make sure to check it out!!!
