Viking wine (mead) AND The cleanest bathrooms in the Poconos! I work as a bartender here, but I am also a customer! This place is so welcoming and cozy. The mead is made in house with 12 different flavors on tap. We also have Specialty Cocktails infused with mead, local wines, hard ciders, plus local beers (on draft and in cans), a whole selection of spirits that include all the usual suspects plus bourbon, Scotch, and even an Irish Whiskey. No kitchen but you are welcome you to BYOFood. Plenty of table seating as well as bar seating and seasonal outdoor seating. Two Viking fires, candles on the tables (great ambiance!), free Live music every Saturday night, themed game nights, smoked cocktails by JC from Silverback Distillery every other Friday, an amazing Sword Dancing Belly Dancer performs every couple of months. Her next night will be Friday July 12. Yours Truly also does occasional Paint n Sip events there as I am the in-house artist. Veteran owned, and did I mention the cleanest bathrooms in the Poconos? We loved this joint! We have never had Mead before in our lives, and this establishment made us feel welcome and safe trying these new creations.We chose this place specifically because they were dog friendly., because they do not serve food. We have noticed that all breweries in the area serve food and we cannot bring our pup, and she is a big part of how we chose to go places with her.The owner is an Air Force veteran and is very nice. He is experimenting with different flavors of mead and wants his customers to taste test to give positive or negative feedback because if people like it, he will make a large batch of it.He also had live music on a Saturday night. The vibes were great and the people were friendly.

This place has such great aesthetics ! Perfect setting for a date night, or to grab a nice drink. The staff are friendly. The drinks are unique by taste and also by name ! They had live music on NYE and it was a great vibe. I enjoyed myself. My brother had a flight that he stated gave him the opportunity to try some deliciously unique meads. Overall, Stonehaüs Meadery is a definitely a “must go” when visiting East Stroudsburg .

Stonehaus Meadery is a definite stop while in the town of Stroudsburg. I had never tried mead before, but I bought some of the pumpkin mead and it was really delicious. Most of the meads are 12% ABV. The owner, who is a military veteran, gave us an educational tour of the facility and explained how the mead is made and what was done to the business area to allow production.Stop by and you won't be disappointed. They have live entertainment, great merchandise including the sale of real, raw honey and of course the bottles of mead available. Thank you for your service, thank you for your meadery. Continued success to you and your staff!!!

Pretty interesting little spot. I haven't really tried too much mead before. However, honey wine mixed with a few spirits is prettttty good. The bartender was more than willing to let me try things, and give advice on options. They had the cool little hook and ring game too. Nice place to check out.

This place is amazing! Joe served us and he was awesome. He explained everything and was he made the experience so much better. The mead was amazing. The new pumpkin flavor they just added for fall was so delicious and more subtitle than you would expect. All in all if come back 100 times over if I could. This little local piece of golf is amazing. Definitely try it and get there a little early like we did and just try everything .
