My husband and I had a wonderful meal here (as always, just always forget to leave a review)! I got baked chicken and salad and the chicken was fall off the bone tender, well seasoned and the salad fresh! My husband got a chicken rice and beans plate and empanadas and all of it was absolutely delicious, great traditional empanadas too! (They weren’t greasy at all- super crispy and great seasoning). The owners here are truly the sweetest people, and stopping in is always a great experience! I couldn’t recommend Emilio’s enough.
We stopped in Stroudsburg on our way to Niagara and chose this place because it was so close to our hotel. So glad we did! I wish I had taken pics but we were hungry. We got pernil, carne guisado, and costillas platters and some maduros and everything was amazing. Not only that, we fed 2 adults and 4 kids and had a LOT of leftovers. Best Puerto Rican I’ve had in a long time. Definitely give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!
Traveling for an annual get away and felt I needed to try this place the last time... glad I made the effort this time, it's so wonderful.
Visiting for a retreat. Commuting from the Bronx I needed something authentic. This place is a absolute gem. Everything is delicious.
I drove 7 hours from Virginia to have some Emilios for dinner. 2nd time and it did not disappoint!!!!! And he gave me a little soup to taste while I waited for my mofongo. That was delicious too!!!
Great authentic food.
It's a hole in a wall and a small restaurant is a bit over priced, they serve Puerto Ricans food, Typical Rice Beans, with ribs or chicken, I would say nothing unique other then the price is above what I expected, they do served you allot of food, but again just regular Spanish food.
I actually thought they were Dominican but no different then. Other places I've been to,I happened to pass thru, and over all spent about $40 which was a little surprised, so yes asked and then ordered.
I had the pernil, really well done. Everything was delicious, and the staff is warm and welcoming. I would be a regular if I lived here.
If you’re looking for the closest thing to a home cooked meal with the presentation of a top quality restaurant, this is the place to be! And every time I show up the food is always fresh. Last but not least, the service is warm and welcoming. Thank you, Emilio’s for blessing our neighborhood!

My wife and I ordered takeout from Emilio’s Place and the food was exceptionally tasty! The Pernel Platter, the Pollo Guisado Platter, and the Maduros portions were very generous! Each platter was enough for two meals! We also ordered the chicken and beef empanadas. Both tasted so good!
The lady who made our takeout meals was very friendly and attentive!
Emilio’s Place offers great food and top-notch service! Highly recommend!

Very good rice, very nice people but the meat was very salty and in edible, they need to correct the problem and offer another option of meat, besides the apology and that they where going to address the issue.
