Thai Thani Authentic Thai Cuisine

Food was good, hostess ruined the surprise party for my wife, location was weird and shady, reservation for 12 was put together with a six top and a larger, round table - really weird and awkward dinner, interior was surprisingly nice - not odd like most Asian places. Probably won't go back, mostly because there are so many other options that were recommended, but also because I'm not big on Thai.

They are usually the superior choice in the area. Their food is aromatic and fresh and has the proper amount of spice. However for some reason the basil fried rice I had tonight tasted like they accidentally dropped the whole container of black pepper in it. It is completely inedible and a waste of money for when they do stuff like this. Sadly it was takeout so they couldn’t just remake my food.

This gem is an absolute staple in my family! I’ve been here so many times I’ve lost count. From NYC, and the commute is 100% worth it.
Incredible flavor, kind and professional staff, and the food….. the food is next level amazing! Welcoming and warm environment, perfect for an intimate date, casual catching up with friends or even hosting a party! Lifelong customer here.

NOTE: take the spice warnings seriously! They use authentic Thai peppers! (Coming from a Caribbean person that casually puts scotch bonnets in every meal).

Absolutely beautiful when you walk in. The exterior of the building in unassuming aside from the wonderful view, but the place quadruples once you walk through the doors. A perfect option for a date night and the best Thai food in the area.

The Pra Ram is absolutely amazing. Try the fried cheesecake you will not regret it ! One of the best desserts I’ve had in my life, literally.

recently visited a Thai restaurant that exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, creating the perfect setting for an enjoyable dining experience.

The menu offered a fantastic variety of dishes, and everything I tried was outstanding. The grilled octopus was tender and perfectly prepared, while the roasted/fried duck curry was both flavorful and beautifully presented. The dumplings and eggrolls were equally delicious, making for a great start to the meal. To complement the food, I enjoyed a smooth Thai beer that tied the whole experience together.

Overall, this restaurant combines authentic flavors with excellent presentation and genuine hospitality. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for exceptional Thai cuisine in a welcoming environment.

The food was excellent but we had a party of 9...so they took forever to bring the food and then started bringing them 2 at a time...in 15 minute increments. Other than the wait for the food, we had a great time.

Thai Thani – Stroudsburg, PA ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We stopped into Thai Thani and ordered the Green Curry Seafood at the highest “Thai Hot” level they offer—and they absolutely delivered! The presentation was stunning, a true signature of their dishes, with vibrant colors and fresh ingredients that made the plate a work of art before we even took a bite.

The scallops, shrimp, and calamari were cooked precisely—perfect texture, tender, and bursting with fresh flavor. The curry itself was rich, layered, and boldly spiced, exactly what you’d hope for when you ask for authentic Thai heat.

We were equally impressed with all the other meals our table ordered—everything came out beautifully plated and full of flavor.

And for a bit of unexpected magic: while enjoying my mussels, I opened one to find a tiny garlic starfish inside—a rare and lucky surprise that made the evening unforgettable.

If you love authentic Thai cuisine with flawless presentation and a touch of the unexpected.

Thai Thani is a must-visit in Stroudsburg.

Truly one of the best Thai restaurants I've eaten at in the Northeast!
I've enjoyed meals at Thai Thani for a few years now, and the food has always been on point. You can customize your spice level, but even their spicier dishes are full of flavor, not just heat.
The staff is also very delightful!

There's also a lovely field on the property that you can see the mountains along the watergap from in the fall and early spring, if you sit out on the deck.
