My husband and I came here because of the views but the food was terrible. They used old greens in my salad and my husband’s meal (wayfarer) the lemon butter sauce was not good. We will not come back to this restaurant.

Sat on the back deck with my family. Staff was very kind and accommodating. The waitress even brought my mom some bug spray. The food was good albeit a bit expensive but the atmosphere was top notch. The deck is beautiful! So far my favorite place in my short time at the Poconos. Would return!

Everyone was very nice but the food and service were awful. The food was unseasoned and the proteins were poor quality. The steak was over cooked and dry. The veggies were over cooked and limp. Even though I made my food restrictions very clear, the kitchen still put food on my plate that was not good for me. Save your money and find someplace else to eat.

Prices don’t reflect the quality of the food. My impression was that the food comes out of the freezer and not fresh. The drinks took long time to appear and also the food took more time than you would expect. Staff was friendly.
Oh my goodness, this is a hidden gem in Stroudsburg! My husband and I came for a late lunch/early dinner. We sat out on the patio and the view was so peaceful and beautiful. Our server, Christina, was just the nicest. She made our experience extra enjoyable. The food was phenomenal-so flavorful and cooked to perfection. We couldn’t recommend this place enough. We will absolutely be coming back on our next visit!

Although the location is prime for the summer I was extremely disappointed by the service and food. Over 45min to take our order, It took over 35minutes to receive just appetizers. Our serves was clearly alone while an event was occurring in the inside so she basically did not have time to take care of everyone outside and inside. The food was definitely not wha was expected and took an incredibly long time to come out. Everything was very unorganized and sort of unprofessional. Will not be coming back to this place.

I have been coming to Willowtree Inn for years.
The staff (including Kat, Christina, Ellen, and Jodi to name a few) have always been kind, helpful, and downright amazing.
The two-tier deck along the creek is fantastic for those who want a serene outdoor experience, and indoors has a charm of its own.
It's my girlfriend's favorite place in Stroudsburg (she always gets the pork with apples) and I love their variety of seafood. Entrees always come with bread and with a salad in their stellar homemade dressing.
They recently began a Saturday and Sunday brunch. My choice came with their giant, home baked croissant with egg, ham, and cheese. It was absolutely delicious, right down to the potatoes and watermelon. I'm a big eater and this has kept me satisfied to the point where I am taking a very late dinner.
When I placed my order, I asked for iced coffee. Jodi said she'd make a fresh pot and bring it to me in a glass full of ice. The coffee was not watered down and was superior to cold brewed coffee I'd buy at a hipster cafe.

Vegetarian perspective
Event guest perspective
Came for a rehearsal dinner, the backyard space was gorgeous. Overlooks a river and great patio where we had the rehearsal. Inside the restaurant was quite dated, and the food was very lackluster. The vegetarian entree tasted like plain pasta with some microwaved veggies in it. I added so much table salt and pepper to give it some flavor.
However, service was great and I loved that they had live music that night!

I took my wife for our anniversary on 07/03. My food was okay but a little pricey for such a small portion of Cod. My wife had a salad with very pathetic fried shrimp. Dessert was wonderful. The interior hasn't changed since I was there about 20 years ago still has that 80ish vibe. The outdoor deck along the water is nice. They only had a few other tables so it was very quiet.
