I was here for a luncheon with some family. It was awful. Our server brought out the wrong food, we waited over 30 minutes just for rolls (which there was not enough for the entire table), were served a salad with no dressing choice, and then finally the main dish came out. I ordered the beef... something. It was low quality roast beef with a salty, gross brown gravy. Allegedly it was a mushroom gravy, but I never found any. Just awful. The building is old, and it's immediately apparent upon entering. Not rustic, just old. Outdated. I'll admit I'm not a fine dining expert but this is a far cry from anything fine dining.

Wow!!! We totally didn't expect to find THE MOST CHARMING restaurant ever while we were looking for a business dinner while on a business trip. The ambience was only surpassed by the friendliest staff who accommodated our every request. And we feasted on the most delicious freshly prepared food. The French Onion Soup was one of the best I've had - and I actually make my own using Julia Childs classic recipe... so yeah, I am picky, and this soup was hands-down awesome. As were all of the items our party of 3 ordered. If you are in the Poconos area put the Willow Tree Inn Restaurant on your list!

Tried it. Food was not good. Lamb was nothing but fat.

This place has a great outdoor dining deck, right on the river. If you eat here, it must be outside on the deck. Both the service and the food are very good. I love the bruschetta. Peach sangria is excellent too.

Our first experience was April 3, 2025 for my 77th Birthday & it was "the Best" time ever. The food, staff, ambiance of the facility was magical‼️We will definately return. Thank you so very much. Christel & Barry Shupp with friends

I held my engagement party here last weekend and everything was great. They were very accommodating as the weather was not very cooperative but they made sure we still had a great indoor/outdoor option. All of our guests loved it as well. Food and wine were excellent. Thank you again to Kat for her attentiveness and great experience.

Wifey and I came here for an early dinner and was greated by Joanne our server. Both of us had great meals from the app (Mushrooms stuffed with Crab) the soups ( French Onion & Mushroomm Risotto) to our meals ( Shrimp & Scallop Casserole & Salmon stuffed with Crab). The mashed potatoes and eggplant for our sides were Delicious as well. Joanne was on top of everything and was a delight. Will definitely be going back.

We were looking forward to what we thought was going to be a fine dining experience, but overall we were very disappointed. The seared tuna tasted positively burnt on the outside and was overcooked, not rare as requested. The crab-stuffed mushrooms tasted like they were stuffed with crumbs and dijon mustard with no taste of crab. The lentil soup had ham in it which was disappointing for a vegetarian, but the waitress kindly replaced it with a potato soup that was quite good, but everyone agreed that the mashed potatoes that came with their entrees were the worst mashed potatoes they had ever been served in a restaurant. The shrimp and scallops in wine sauce were pretty good although the shrimp was a little overcooked and the sauce was unremarkable. The vegetable sides were good as was the chicken marsala, according to the person who ordered it. The coffee and cassata were very good, so at least we finished off the meal a little less disgruntled. Our waitress was very nice and helpful. The atmosphere was okay once we turned off the vents that were blowing cold air on us, but the country music was not appreciated, especially when it was playing at the same time as the live music being played on the patio. The Halloween decorations in the entry were well done and fun. I do not recommend this restaurant if you want a fine dining experience when paying a premium for it.

Been coming here since I was a kid. I've eaten here more times than I can remember but every time is an amazing experience. They have consistent good quality meals, friendly staff, and a warm ambience. It's perfectly tucked away from the bustling noice of Main Street, giving it a calm and peaceful atmosphere. Also the cassata cake is a MUST try when dining here! I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area or that lives local.

My party of 4 went here to test it out as a possible rehearsal dinner venue and thank goodness we tried it before booking our event.

Service: The waitress was sloppy, aggressive, and forgetful. Honestly she may have been intoxicated. She kept aggressively interrupting our conversation, slamming plates down, and forgetting to refill our drinks. She pushed an extra appetizer which we very much did not enjoy, took the bread before we were finished with it, and left a dirty plate in front of me for the entirety of our meal.

Food: The meal itself was awful. Our Swedish meatballs and stuffed mushrooms seemed like they had been pre-made and frozen, definitely not fresh. The salad was bitter to the point of being inedible and coated with some awful mayo-based dressing. The steaks we ordered were either overcooked or undercooked, and smothered in a gravy that seemed to be a poor attempt to hide the lack of flavor in the steak. There was no choice of sides, all orders came with mashed potatoes which were bland and a vegetable which was an inedible eggplant dish. The bread was good.

Ambience: The decor was dated and drab. There was live music on a Sunday night which is not my preference, but the musician was quite good.

The hostess was kind and accommodating. She noticed we were cold and came over to apologize which was thoughtful and appreciated.
