The food was very salty and the overall feel wasn’t that great. I am all for supporting small businesses but at the least you should make customers feel welcomed when entering your store. Much success into the future anyway.

I’m not sure about the first store but the second one on Milford road that just opened has bad service from the young man. I walked in and asked to see a menu and was told that they Dont have take out menu’s. The man at the table clarified that I can’t take the menu but they have a menu for me to look at. When I decided to place my order, I was asked what part of the menu I was looking at so they could figure out what comes with my fish. I was told my fish didn’t come with a side then I was asked what side I wanted. They dont have what’s on the menu like steamed vegetables because “ we dont got a steamer” and then the food they tried to give me wasn’t what I ordered. Then the whole time this kid is eating someone else’s food that they tried to give me. And.

I love fish my Fiancé hates fish but loves cole slaw and hush puppies..I was gonna go to sonic and saw this restaurant…To make a long story short the food was off the hook,My girl was watching me eat my fried fish and asked if she could try it.We have been together 8 yrs and I never seen her eat a piece of fish..She loved it and ate the rest of that piece..The girl at the counter was an absolute gem and I love that it is family owned ..I will definitely be back

We found it by accident but the food here was absolutely amazing! And it didn't look like much when we first saw the sign but we were so happy that we stopped we got a huge order to go! We will totally be back when we're in the area! It's family run and everyone was just so sweet and kind it just made it perfect!

I stopped by on a whim. I ordered the fried catfish & shrimp with the homemade fries. It was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious! I’m usually not one to leave reviews, but YaYa’s stood out. I’m glad that I decided to stop in. I’ll definitely be back because there are so many other things on their menu that I want to try. I highly recommend that you try this place.

Communication issue. We looked up the 5138 Milford Road location. But instead of ordering online, we called it in.When I got there, the kind young man behind the counter informed me that they had no orders. He asked if I ordered online or called. I said by phone. He informed me that they didn't have a phone there yet, and my order was placed on the other side of Stroudsburg, near Burtonsville. He said if I hadn't paid yet, he could just cancel the order, and make it there. But he had to run it by his father first. The dad made an excuse about Verizon, and said he couldn't help me out. He kept telling his kid that the food was already made elsewhere, so it would be a loss. He offered no solution, so I drove all the way to the other location.Food was decent. There were a couple bones in my daughter's catfish, but it tasted good.I hope they get that phone number thing straightened out. I think the son has a bright future, with good customer service in mind. I don't like giving negative reviews, but a "loss" in food service, is usually pretty negligible compared to customer satisfaction.

The worst restaurant I've ever eaten at in the area. Who the heck makes a fish sandwich with bones in it and on sliced bread from shoprite??? Jalapeño hush puppies were fine but had zero jalapeño in them. Service was

Amazing food, def recommend the combo platters and all the sides are amazing. The coconut pineapple cake is literally out of this world. Best desert I have ever had in my life. If you go and they have it there, you need to get it, life changing.

At first glance, the food looks awesome… but once you taste it, you’ll find it’s just OK. The fish was a tad salty and didn’t contain any of the seasonings you’d expect to find in southern or soul cuisine. It seems to me that a lot of these newer establishments d*** down the taste of their food to make it more palatable to a broader audience who wouldn’t have a clue as to what it’s supposed to actually taste like. The YaYa fruit punch was wayyyy to sweet. Look, I’m from the hood so I know how sweet “project kool-aid” can get but this was beyond that. I was able to mix with water and make four cups of overly sweet punch from that one cup. If you are a diabetic stay away. Customer service was wonderful and they really do care about their clientele which is a plus, so I definitely wish them success. But for me, I’ll continue my search for a southern/soul food place that meets my culinary needs.

Been here twice so far, and ate great both times. A terrific place for soul food novices, and exactly what your seafood-hungry tummy wants. Everything is fresh and fantastically spiced, and the crew are lovely people. Another review talked up the seafood egg roll. They're not lying; it's better than many a crab cake around here. Will be returning regularly.

This place is a small little hole in the wall that I've been meaning to try. It's usually a little out of my way, but my mom works next door and raves about all the meal deals they have and how good the food is. I finally went and picked up dinner for myself tonight (2 pc tilapia meal and Old Bay fries) and she's right! The fish is clearly fresh, a great size for the price, and seasoned to perfection. My mom did let me know that they use chicken broth for their rice, so I avoided that since I don't consume meat products besides fish (in case any other pescatarians are waiting to try!). The tilapia is delicious, it was flaky and fell apart like fish should, and the fries are the right size and shape to pick up the loose flakes and eat them. They also carry Coke products in the bottle, including cherry coke, which is so hard to get at most of the surrounding restaurants. Will definitely be back and can't wait to try more, especially the homemade lemonade!
Dietary restrictions: All the fish and shellfish are fried in the same fryers.
