I ordered a veggie omelette and instead of putting spinach on it, they put lettuce on it in place of spinach! I told the waitress and all she said was sorry. It was not a good experience.
Helen is the best.

Stopped here for lunch, what a great find! I had the open face turkey with mashed potatoes and gravy - Happy early Thanksgiving! Turkey was fresh and flavorful, not like deli turkey but turkey out of your oven! The other family members had the mushroom Swiss burger (double patty!) with batter coated crispy fries and a cup of Crab Corn soup (great flavor but a little on the salty side). Overall a great choice for lunch!
After days of living on gas station snacks while driving from the West Coast toward the East Coast, Tom’s Kitchen was the pit stop I didn’t know I needed. This little diner is the definition of home-style comfort.
The menu was stacked with choices, including an entire all-day breakfast section that looked tempting on its own. In the end, I went for the Philly cheesesteak with seasoned fries, and it hit the spot right away. Simple, hearty, and packed with flavor, it gave me the recharge I needed to finish the last leg of my trip.
There’s nothing fancy about Tom’s Kitchen, but that’s exactly its charm. It’s pure Americana: straight-up, no-frills food done right. The service was friendly and efficient, which only added to the comfort of the stop.
If you’re driving through Pennsylvania and want more than just another forgettable roadside bite, I highly recommend pulling over here. Tom’s Kitchen delivers exactly what a traveler hopes for—good food, good people, and the kind of meal that makes the road ahead feel a little lighter.

All the food was good with the exception of the homefries. Sorry, but they were on the cool side and not much flavor. But, on a + note, Thanks to the chef for being able to accomodate request to include peppers and mushroom to my veggie omelet. The base menu tomatoes, spinach, and onions is ok but it is a VEGGIE omelet so why not make it more appealing and it was very flavorful! The waitresses were friendly. The first waitress caught on that my spouse is gluten free and offered gf toast. Our back up waitress was around a couple of times with coffee and refilled our waters too! Overall nice and good atmosphere!

Fast friendly service. Food is good but not out of the ordinary. Nice place to stop if you want reliable food and service near route 80.
Great breakfast! Go there.

Great local spot. Met family here here for breakfast and had great food and service. Highly recommend.
Food was average nothing to write home about spent $16 on half of a open face roast beef sandwich and french fries with gravy. As it only comes with one piece of bread.Unfortunately I will probably not eat here again. That's just me . But I say try it yourself you might enjoy it more than I did.
Amazing food and great service!
Great food, great people!
Judy and Ozzie at Tom’s Kitchen in Sugarloaf, Pennsylvania! Great sit down lunch! The turkey club was as good as could be!
