Stopped by for the first time this weekend and we were blown away. Jamie C was an amazing waitress:knowledgeable, personable and helpful. We never get usually get appetizers or dessert, but we happily did both. The Maryland Crab soup was great. The fire log pepper appetizer was unique and amazing. The martini flight was tasty as well. There are many great options for food near Sunbury and Boondocks just moved to the top of that list for us.
Overall we felt like the menu was a bit overpriced. My significant other had the flat iron steak and an added crabcake with the mashed potatoes and was very pleased with his meal. I had a chicken sandwich that left much to be desired in the flavor department. I tried the martini flight and they were good flavor wise but not cold. My husband and I finally stopped in at Boondocks today for the first time. We are so glad that our travels led us there today. We had a fantastic meal, got to meet and talk with Michael, had some great conversation. The food and service is above and beyond. We will definitely be going back to work our way through the menu. Check them out!
