When spring makes it's first tugs at my heart I get hungry for "picnic food"; this week Packer House offered bbq chicken, baked beans, coleslaw, corn bread, with strawberry/ rhubarb crisp for dessert. It hit the "spot"!! The food was delicious! ( as usual) We simply ordered online and picked it up at the designated time...while we were unable to eat it outside( it had started to drizzle and I melt in the rain)...it was the easiest and most delicious picnic...
I tried there food last week when it was chicken pot pie and that was delicious and today is the chicken bacon ranch sandwich and that is also delicious
Packer House crew you do a good job and good food
Excellent food in a very nice setting! Besides hosting special events and the occasional dinner theater, the Packer House is only open for lunch on Thursdays, and you have to sign up for their emails in order to see the lunch menu in advance. Very reasonable prices, too -- this is probably my new favorite restaurant in the Valley!
