It's a great place to hangout with friends and the staff are quite friendly. The food is just decent especially for the price. They charge like $30 for 10

It’s so enjoyable hopping off a train from Philly and walking across the street towards a quaint town and welcoming restaurant. Their food is consistently fresh, seasonal and delicious. Excellent, friendly, down to earth servers and staff. Such a good vibe, even in the middle of the day. Perfect place to meet friends in the suburbs if coming from center city. Great atmosphere, fireplace in the winter and outdoor seating in summer. Highly recommend!

The atmosphere is fantastic, and the service is second to none. They came by a few times to check on us as we ate, and it just earned them a well-deserved tip. I recommend this spot for breakfast if you're craving good polite customer service.

Service is slow, manu is limited. is overpriced the pigs in the blanket is one big sausage very greasy. They could do much better if they do the homework. You can't order chicken fingers unless you are a child

I have been here about a dozen times over the past few years. The food is consistently good, but there are times it misses. The last time I was there, I ordered the shrimp cocktail. Instead of coming in a glass filled with ice and garnished, I got 4 pieces of shrimp on a plate with cocktail sauce also on the plate. Although that really isn't a complaint about the food quality, it just seemed strange to have my appetizer served that way and it did not look appealing. The nachos and wings are quite good, but I don't care for the hummus. I can't speak to the entrees much because I typically order a salad and/or an appetizer. All in all, this is a nice local restaurant, on the pricey side, but it could use some improvements.

We had a lovely experience until I accidentally left my credit card there in the bill folder. We live in another state and had already returned home- but upon realizing I left my card, I called the tavern for HOURS and no one answered. I called the hotel, and they transferred me, and still NO ONE ANSWERED. I left messages and no one responded. I had a friend who was still there go in person to the tavern and they still refused to talk to us or let my friend help. Instead, they kept insisting that I should email my ID to the tavern and then they could release my card to my friend. Emailing your license is a HUGE security risk. We offered to FaceTime the manager to showing me holding my ID and giving authorization for my friend to bring my card home to me, and they still refused to work with us. So now we are going to have to cancel my card and go through the huge hassle of all that entails when there was a simple and SECURE solution. Joanna Miles was the manager on duty and was incredibly unpleasant and uncooperative. I understand if she didn't have the the authority to overrule this dangerous company policy, but she could have handled the situation much better- beginning by answering my call!!!

Earlier today, my wife dined at the Broad Table Tavern and accidentally left her credit card at the restaurant. We live 2 hours away. It would be a huge inconvenience to drive back to get it, and an even bigger inconvenience to have to cancel the card. We tried calling the Tavern for 5 hours and no one would answer the phone. Luckily, someone else from our party was staying an extra night and offered to physically go talk to someone and help get the card for us.The manager on duty (Joanna Miles) was completely unhelpful and said the only way to get the card back was to email a copy of my wife's ID. She kept repeating the line that it's company policy, but I warned that the policy is insecure and should NOT be followed. The manager was overly rude to our friend, and she refused to consider any other suggestions when we finally did get to talk to her on the phone (we had to call the hotel and convince the desk clerk to walk over).in summary:1. the insecure "company policy" for emailing an ID should be abolished, and shows no real proof of identity2. the manager should be reprimanded for terrible customer service, failing to pick up the phone for hours and refusing to work with us at all3. we will never again visit the Broad Table Tavern, and recommend that you steer clear as well

Show up at 8:02. Sorry, closed for food. How about a salad as there is nothing else open and your hours say 9pm...Not just online but everywhere including the front desk. Super disappointed on this place.

The food took a while to be served, but it was very good when it finally arrived. However, if we go back, we will avoid any dish served with bread. The bread was really sub-par, thin slices of the cheapest sliced bread money can buy, and the rye toast my husband ordered did not resemble any kind of rye we've ever seen. Looked, and tasted, like wonderbread made with rye flour. Chef needs to upgrade the bread order!
