First time in and the baked goods are amazing! I especially enjoyed the chicken salad croissant! Definitely check this place out!
The workers at the counter were very kind. We got scones and ginger bread cookies. The food and service were so good that I came back the next day, I was adamant on bringing a baguette back to SC with me on the plane!

I had submitted an order for a custom cake a week ago for pick up. I spoke with a younger dark haired employee about wanting specific details on my cake. She wrote them down on a piece of ordering paper. I was told the total and paid. I also inquired about there being any way to see it beforehand in case I wanted to make any adjustments/changes and was told they could do changes on the spot for me if need be at pickup. My husband went to pickup our order today and the owner acted annoyed when my husband took a picture to send to me for me to see it. He was questioned by the owner and he explained to him what I was told by his employee. The employee was questioned about this by the owner in front of him (very unprofessional and my husband noticed the girl was very nervous as was her demeanor when I originally placed the order) and regretfully said she did not tell us that. I would have gladly paid the difference for the details had it been mentioned when I placed the order. And would have paid it at pick up if the owner was willing to do it on the spot. There is a clear issue between management and employees and as a first time customer, was not satisfied with this experience.
In response to the businesses’ response:
My husband had no choice but to take it as we needed something at that time. I didn’t realize that asking for “pumpkins, leaves, autumn flowers” etc. is a wedding cake according to your standards. My husband saw that you had that paper with all those request in his view. Regret having him not take a pic as proof.
Further, once we pay for item, it is no longer anyone’s business what we do with it whether that’s to take a picture or anything else. It is ours.
And it was for a special occasion, an anniversary, which should be taken just as important as a wedding or anything else.
Also, the taste of the cake itself was not satisfactory.
I’m a very flexible/reasonable person when people are upfront and honest. Nobody or nothing is perfect but attitude is everything. Not sure how far your business will go with the attitude you have but wish you the best.

The food is very good, but be aware that they cannot heat food for you on site. If you want to eat any of their flatbreads, quiche, etc while at the restaurant, you will have to eat it cold. Otherwise, it’s a solid 5.

It's high time I leave a review for this amazing bakery.
As a student at Swarthmore, I was absolutely devastated to see Occasionally Yours leave after so long. However, the place that took its place has lived up to the renown of the original location (albeit with different food).
The service is incredibly helpful and friendly, the store itself is extremely cute, and the constant new bakery items means there's always something exciting to check out. The Bavarian pretzel and French baguette are some of my favorites here, but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. This store almost single handedly drained my summer research stipend because of how good it is. Even my professors talk about this place (with one highly recommending the coffee, and that's saying something as he is a coffee snob like me).
I cannot recommend highly enough, it is a must if you are a bakery fan.

Finally made the trip but only got to try -bacon and caramelized onion flatbread, Auntie’s chicken salad on a croissant, a Bavarian pretzel, key lime bar, cheese cake, carrot cake, double ginger cookies, chocolate cookies, and chocolate babkah Based on such a small sample size we can only rate it -OMG!!!
Today was my second time at Pasty Pants, and it verified just how good this bakery is. We needed a great bakery in the Springfield Swarthmore area. Thanks to the folks at Pastry Pants, we have a go to for superb French baguette (best in the area???), delicious beignets, cream filled donuts and just about anything. I’m a local guy who loves my Philly soft pretzels but Pastry Pants Bavarian style bretzels are amazing!!!! Stop by and you will not be disappointed.

No better way to start our Saturday mornings than with a stop at Pastry Pants! Their flatbreads and stuffed pretzels are amazing. Nothing better than taking home a loaf of their bread to have with soup in the fall!

Woah. These were brought as a gift to our house and that scone nearly knocked us over. It is so good!
I called the day before my arrival because I had heard they had egg free chocolate cupcakes. They did, but when I went to pick them up, I realized that they had so much more. I initially bought a slice of mushroom and greyuere cheese (so) quiche along with the egg free cupcakes. About 20 minutes later, I was back for two more pieces of quiche, along with cranberry and orange scone, a plum and crumb square of some sort. And here I am six hours later, amazed at the flavors of each of these foods. I don’t know how I missed this bakery in the past. I will be a regular from now on, because the other quiches looked amazing And so did every single thing in that bakery. Don’t miss it! You will be so so happy.

What a phenomenal bakery on a quaint Main Street! It’s always a good sign when the line is out the door. You can taste the freshness and quality in everything. Loved the key lime pie bar and enjoyed the stuffed pretzel. We will be back for sure!

The brownies and the cupcakes are a little on the smaller side, especially for the price. I wasn’t a fan of the 3% merchant fee that’s charged for credit cards. Don’t penalize me because you don’t want to pay the 4% fee for taking credit cards. Luckily I always keep cash on me for these type of issues nowadays. They do slide this fee in very smoothly when processing the transaction. I don’t remember seeing this fee posted in the store anywhere. The apple turnover and the blueberry scone tasted like it was made a few days prior. The brownie tasted more like a chocolate candy bar than anything. The key lime cheesecake had a serious aftertaste. Five stars is a bit much. Small town overhyped at best. People taste buds must be low standard to give them a five star rating.
