Great bar and great atmosphere
I am surprised I haven’t reviewed Ship Bottom before. I taken a lot of cheesesteaks here. Great indoor seating, bar and garden seating. Great diverse selection of beers. Friendly professional staff. I had a great tasting strawberry blonde ale. Bring several quarters for the parking meters.

Absolutely just a wonderful place to sit and have a beer. Great conversations with the people that worked there. Just an awesome place.

I always love my visits to Ship Bottom in Swarthmore. Great beer selection and great bartenders. I am happy to be a club member and always feel welcome. No food served but nice options for food across the street and around the corner .
Tasty beer, friendly service, and a relaxed outdoor seating area under the trees. Recommend!

I went to a party there and thought it was an amazing place. The staff was so accommodating and the drink selection was delicious. We had food from the food truck and it was superb. I got the ribs, baked beans and yam and applesauce.
I will definitely be going back!!
Fantastic beer selection. Great outdoor bar space and decent live music. But, on weekends, the number of people who bring children make it feel like a daycare with alcohol. It’s unbearable. If your ideal Friday night is a live taping of TLC’s 2007 Jon and Kate Plus 8, with draft service - this is the bar for you!
