Tasty beer, friendly service, and a relaxed outdoor seating area under the trees. Recommend!
I went to a party there and thought it was an amazing place. The staff was so accommodating and the drink selection was delicious. We had food from the food truck and it was superb. I got the ribs, baked beans and yam and applesauce.
I will definitely be going back!!
Fantastic beer selection. Great outdoor bar space and decent live music. But, on weekends, the number of people who bring children make it feel like a daycare with alcohol. It’s unbearable. If your ideal Friday night is a live taping of TLC’s 2007 Jon and Kate Plus 8, with draft service - this is the bar for you!
Nice local venue. Nice brew selection.
Amazing seltzers! Went with a big group and were able to be accommodated easily.
Great bar staff and really good beer! We had a great time!
Awesome staff but the beer list is still wanting. Great place to watch a game
This place is just a great start. Not only for the outstanding beers from the ship bottom brewery, but also due to the friendly atmosphere, which includes sporting events, musical entertainment, and the other drink options, which include amazing, cocktails, hard, ciders, and spiked seltzer‘s. And it sits in the midst of a vibrant college community.
Great beverages but little control over screaming kids.
Great beer, friendly staff. Overall nice place to hang and catch up with friends and family. Love the outdoor seating area.

We love Ship Bottom! Fantastic beers and it’s family friendly. We love what they’ve brought to the borough and thankfully they welcome families so the whole family can enjoy the day.
Baby friendly, dog friendly, chill staff, delicious beer.
Good beer. Welcoming atmosphere.
Great beer selection on draught and cans to go. Open seating which includes multiple large tables that can accommodate 8 or more people, additional tables for 4 people and 10 seats at the bar. I had a flight which included the coconut porter, blueberry wheat, the shack ipa and the mermaid blonde. All were very good but $14 per flight is pretty expensive. This place is across the street from the Swarthmore SEPTA regional rail (Wawa-Trenton line) station. Very convenient from downtown Philly; no driving required. Though there isn't a kitchen on the premises, there are a few take-out shops within walking distance. Also, there is a small outdoor seating area open during the Spring-Fall season.
I had my 1st date there a few days ago. Very nice little place and the bartenders were extremely friendly and helpful in choosing different beers to try.
