I recently stopped by this craft brewery to kill some time before heading to my girlfriend's bands performance. This place looked cool from the outside, so I went inside to try a few beers out. Looking at their menu, they offered a nice selection. I tried one of their IPA's along with their Oktoberfest Lager. I enjoyed both of these brews. The Oktoberfest went down very smoothly, and you can't go wrong with an IPA, as it was very flavorful and fruity. They offered a bunch of benches and tables for seats as well as lots of bar sitting. The place was pretty crowded for a Saturday, but a good vibe to it. Overall, I had a good time here drinking a few beers.

This place is just a great start. Not only for the outstanding beers from the ship bottom brewery, but also due to the friendly atmosphere, which includes sporting events, musical entertainment, and the other drink options, which include amazing, cocktails, hard, ciders, and spiked seltzer‘s. And it sits in the midst of a vibrant college community.

Great beer selection on draught and cans to go. Open seating which includes multiple large tables that can accommodate 8 or more people, additional tables for 4 people and 10 seats at the bar. I had a flight which included the coconut porter, blueberry wheat, the shack ipa and the mermaid blonde. All were very good but $14 per flight is pretty expensive. This place is across the street from the Swarthmore SEPTA regional rail (Wawa-Trenton line) station. Very convenient from downtown Philly; no driving required. Though there isn't a kitchen on the premises, there are a few take-out shops within walking distance. Also, there is a small outdoor seating area open during the Spring-Fall season.

Absolutely my favorite bar in Delaware County. Great beer and a better atmosphere. We grab dinner for the kids across the street and bring it to the bar to hang out with friends and neighbors. Music is always good and the family/neighborhood vibes can't be beat!
