Swarthmore Pizza seems a little divisive. I’ve been eating here for over a decade and the pizza is pretty good, however, quality can vary (overdone and underdone pies). I’m giving it 4 because consistency isn’t their strong suit and you might not like their style of pie. Their Salads are good and well made, sides like mozzarella sticks are usually tasty.
It’s big enough to accommodate a decent crowd if you wanna dine in, but pickup is a breeze. I never have trouble ordering over the phone and I don’t think I’ve ever received an incorrect order. Staff is always busy but generally very polite. It’s usually pretty busy, but they manage things well.
Parking: Lot in front of the restaurant accommodates some, but the strip where Swarthmore Pizza is located has additional spots

Pizza is mid. I only stopped in for pick up so no comments on dine-in experience. Food was ready when I got there and the transaction was brief. No line. Beer coolers right next to the counter was convenient.
Crust is bready, but sauce and cheese were okay. The slices were not made symmetrically, a personal pet peeve of mine. Room for improvement.

The food is edible There’s nothing special about it at all. It’s just pizza place food. Same as every other pizza place. It is, however, one of the only places around that serves a Reuben. I have ordered a grilled Ruben . Each time it has shown up, not grilled and with coleslaw. A Ruben comes with corn beef, Swiss cheese, Russian dressing, and sauerkraut. It is grilled. A corn beef special is not grilled comes with Swiss cheese, corn, beef, and coleslaw.
This is the fourth time it showed up incorrectly. When I called to place my order , I explained that it showed three times incorrectly to the woman who answered the phone. She assured me that it would be right. Lo and behold it showed up as a corn beef special.
I called them explained that they messed up again. So they redelivered. It was basically a sandwich of sauerkraut and one tiny piece of corn beef. With delivery my sausage sandwich was about $20. I’m done with this place. They are careless. Lazy and sloppy.

Swarthmore Pizza has absolutely infuriated me! Can you believe what I saw when I was in that restaurant? They had the audacity to deny a hardworking USPS worker access to their bathroom! This person is out there, rain or shine, ensuring that we receive our mail, and this is how they are treated? Disgusting. Well, let me tell you, Swarthmore Pizza just lost a customer for life! I will never spend another dime at that establishment again. It's despicable behavior like this that makes me sick to my stomach. Shame on you, Swarthmore Pizza!

We sat for half an hour outside while the two servers (who, granted, had a full house inside) took care of the other two couples outside. This is not the first time it's happened, but it certainly is the last.

We were long standing patrons of Swarthmore Pizza, however, our last visit left much to be desired. We decided to give it one more try. I'm so disappointed; portions have been cut in half, salads were sad with the packet of dressing folded up under the lettuce to make it look like more, pasta wasn't drained, musselss were like rubber... Plenty of other places in the area to get good takeout, I won't be returning to Swarthmore Pizza.

Called got no answer during the lowest time wait. Shouldn't make people wait. Guess they can afford to lose sales
They need to hire decent people. All young punks

When I'm back in the area, Swarthmore Pizza is always my first stop for a cheesesteak. I usually opt for takeout, but dining in has also been a consistently great experience. The staff are remarkably friendly and efficient, even during their busiest times. Highly recommend for anyone looking for delicious food and excellent service!
Parking: Parking lot in front fills up sometimes but the other lots around the restaurant typically have spots available.
Kid-friendliness: They are totally kid friendly but the sound can carry here so if you have loud kids they will sound even louder.

Been several times. Mixed reviews from my friends. Some like some don’t. They have lots of dinner specials usually. Italian usually. Priced cheap. Always busy for dinner. Basically cheap Italian food vibes. However, pizza is their forte. And for a pizza place their fries are lousy. Not acceptable for a pizza place! They serve liquor too. Not byob though. Get the pizza and some wine. Everything else is mediocre but cheap so don’t go with high expectations just expect good prices and pizza. Service is excellent however. Those girls hustle.
